The Double Cup Method To Start Seeds

This is my all-time favorite way to start seeds! I've always had super high germination rates, and the plants are always super healthy.
I decided to remake this video to hopefully answer some of the common questions I had on my original double-cup video.

If you use a square bottom cup underneath, you wont need a spacer,
OR - cut slots w a hot knife across the edge of bottom & side so cup
can drink while sitting in a pan of liquid. I am using Ferry Morse 72 cell
tray only to set my solos in. No undercup.

What kinds of seeds do you plant early?

I always start my peppers in February. They will grow in these cups until mid April, and then I'll move them outside into bigger pots

Soil shouldn’t sit in water. Search double cup method with wicking as this keeps the soil out of the water whilst still delivering needed moisture to the growing plant.
