Nautilus1972 WHAT?NO!HE TRIED TO SAVED THEIR LIVES MAN!DISLIKE!YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND,ITS NOT STUPID!Not his fault, too. The cave was huge and rugged. It was too much for a human to dive through safely.
It's a miracle, kind of, the divers (who found the boys) dived ahead with ropes to make a safe route for the ones who'll follow. They ran out of ropes at the point where they found the boys and needed to come up to the surface of the water and they saw the boys and the coach on the dry land, as you can see from the video of them talking to each other.
according to what i know; these kids went into the cave when it was a little pond but still able to climb and walk in. there after rain water get in and covered some of the lower paths and they get stuck deep inside. people knew the kids went into the cave but later discovered that they did not came out. it alert the police department and search began, 2 British divers join in the search and they believed the kids was deep inside, they put in effort and went deep in, finally they found them. there are a lot of video on it, take a look and it may help u to understand it. good day!
A true hero, the world will never forget you Saman Gunan ...i just have seen the netflix film, its a emotionnal beautiful story, like the chilians miners...
Hearing the "Months" period of rescue possibilities really made me cry. I didn't know how hard it was till I saw the cross section of the cave. I have nothing to give but prayers. Love from a Fijian human😢😢
Holy mother I am a claustrophobic just watching this makes me panic and unable to breath.... my highest appreciation to all the team involved and the boys and their coach.. you are just amazing!
If everyone of the soccer team makes it out alive, Hollywood's gonna make a movie about this, with Mark Wahlberg playing one of the divers, Daniel Day Lewis playing a Thai priest, and it's gonna be shot in the style of Jason Bourne.
I can't even imagine. These kids are amazing and I hope that the remaining kids and coach all get out safe and recover as much as possible. The one silver lining to all of this is that I love seeing how the world responds to something like this. I know that the media is always looking to capitalize on stories like this, but seeing all of the BRAVE people come together to help rescue them along with all of the thoughts and prayers of the rest of the world is an AMAZING thing!!
I guarantee that Dwayne Johnson, Chris Pratt, or Mark Wahlberg are going to play one of the Navy Seal divers in the inevitably upcoming Hollywood production of this situation
For those of you don't know why they go in, the kids want to go in and play in the cave. At the time the cave is very dry, then all the sudden the water came in and filled the entrance, then the water keep coming in so the boys have to go deeper and deeper.
Cave is a nature and a wonderful place to go. If they know they will get trapped, they will not go in the beginning. Nobody wants this to happen including the coach and the boys.
As a father I cannot read or watch a full video about it.. I cannot imagine how their parents are felling and I can only wish that those kids get out of there as soon as possible..
FARIA206 CapFreddy Everything will be fine, these young boys play sports, they are brave and have a strong psyche 👍 Many of them probably like computer games with extreme adventures, so they are familiar with it and not afraid as much as we adults imagine
Our Polish traveler and diver who knows Thailand says that if several European boys were stuck in a cave, we would have a much bigger problem. He said that children in Thailand are much more resistant to stress. This is a different mentality, they are more positive towards life and treat everything more with laughter. Religion (Buddhism) also plays a large role, because they often meditate, work on spirituality and meditation has it that time flows a little differently. He also said that boys in Thailand are working from young years, they are more mature and much better adapted to such situations than children in Europe.
Motmaitre, can you just stfu? You tell people to man up even tho you're a kid, but really what matters here is that you need manners, and some fucking discipline definitely. I wish you would be trapped with those kids just to know how they feel, I would bet you would be the most scared one there.
blackvelvet they went to the cave while it's still dry but suddenly it started to rain & water bloked the enterance.. they went in even deeper to avoid the water sorry for my bad english
King Ijaz Malik it was an exploration. It's pretty much a regular thing in south east Asia. We have massive size of caves. The thing was they went in during monsoon season. Couldnt really blame them, because the place was dry when they went in. If there was any possibility of the cave to be filled with water, then the entrance should be closed for public. It's no one fault.
Richard's World Traveler: Well actually I believe that is the problem, is that it is raining like hell, but I get your point though. They appear to be in good spirits, so that will help a great deal. But i don't think that waiting out months of rain is going to be a better option. There has GOT to be a way, and those SEALs will find it.
Richard's World Traveler it is crazy rain and that's cave in chiangrai very deep the pass of river iside cavee and the boy they cant reconizing how to look the flood flat so difficult to take them out cause water inside there still high and yes maybe they have to stay like a month is really havy rain. So around there is just a mounten and the way for water that area is going in cave
Its monsoon season, which means its raining like crazy, and it will get worse. They need the pump running all the time, for 4 months, if they want to save them, by not diving them out.
There were some miners in Tasmanian (Australia) who were trapped of about 3 months in a space where they couldn't even stand or lie down - they came out alive after rescuers drilled through rock to get to them. First, small holes to deliver food and water, then the one big enough to pull them through. It tells us about the resilience and tenacity of the human spirit, and we need to see some of that in today's world. All being well, the boys will get out intact.
Watching this after learning that the boys and their coach have been rescued but one of the Navy rescuers died 😢 I hope his heroism will not be forgotten.
The movie should be produced and directed by people who understand SCIENCE ....AND FAITH. People all over the world prayed massively for the rescue team, they sent volunteers, they sent resources. Some people - without faith - can never make a true to life film on this. This was a world wide, world peace effort. And humanity won.
The children are being brave, their coach is being brave, the rescue teams are incredibly brave! My prayer 🙏 is that each & everyone gets out of there safe n sound!!!!! Thx for this update & report!
The coach should be strung up as soon as they get him out, what the hell was he doing taking young boys into a dangerous cave complex in the monsoon season with no supplies, no proper clothing or footwear and without their parents knowledge.
People please get this right. It was 2 British cave diving expert who found the missing Thai boy with the support of the THAI NAVY SEAL not American navy seal they have nothing to do with this. Stop misleading and give credit to the right people.
Correct. It is Thai Navy divers who are conducting the relief/rescue operations and two civilian British technical divers who first reached the trapped group. I don't know how Ben Reymenants fits in. He's a Dutch expatriate living in Thailand. He may just be acting as a media consultant, though.
Oh my goodness! I didn’t realize how difficult it is to get in and out. I am so worried to learn that it would take months to finally bring the kids out IF it is even possible. Poor kids.
Done Write uh, yeah. Months. They’ve been saying there’s 4 options: try to find a fissure in the roof of the cave so that they can drill down into it from above, give each of these kids who can’t swim oxygen tanks and lead them the 3 HOURS out (through passages so narrow that the divers had to remove their oxygen tanks to fit through, with zero visibility, plus needing to switch tanks multiple times to not run out), keep pumping water out and hope it doesn’t rain during monsoon season and ideally they could walk back out, orrrr.... bring them down enough food and supplies for them to wait out the rainy season. Which lasts... wait for it... 4 MONTHS. So yes, potentially months.
OMG just listening to them describing how the boys are trapped has me feeling very claustrophobic, I couldn't imagine being in this situation and the thought that they may have to stay down there for months is just crazy. Definitely keeping them in my thoughts and prayers ❤❤
The mental toughness of those kids is awe inspiring. They are still smiling despite their predicament. Prayers for their continued health and safe rescue.
Trigger honestly I could care less about these boys. They could slowly drown for all I care. I just like being a fuck on TH-cam comment threads. It’s a pointless place to comment and people take it so seriously I can’t resist pissing in their cornflakes.
i must give praise to the coach for his leadership and keeping the boys alive and mentally and physically well for 10 days. please remember there is 12 boys under his care. it won't be easy for him. very well done coach.
The coach is a hero. He was a monk for 10 years before becoming the coach. He love those kids. And kids like him respect him and trust him . He is a good guy.
A you a complete dumbass? The coach should be strung up as soon as they get him out, what the hell was he doing taking young boys into a dangerous cave complex in the monsoon season with no supplies, no proper clothing or footwear and without their parents knowledge.
@ ทุกนาทีมีค่า So because he was a monk that gives him a free pass for being so negligent and putting these boys in such a dangerous and life threatening situation? I have heard all about how much monks love kids, just like catholic priests. He is no good guy and he should be charged with the full force of the law.
guitar warrior The Movie studio Vultures *ALREADY WERE THERE* every moment this was in the NEWS and ready for when the boys and their coach were brought {walking} out of the cave. Some have said this would make a great plot of a Movie. Add loveable pets who are also looking for their {child} owners AND i guess you've got a good #kids Movie for the School holidays of 2019? 😞😧ℹ🚑🚒🚔🎬🎥
Woww incredible !!! Everyone around the world are interested this news from small and not famous country like Thailand ! Thank you from Bangkok Thailand !
8 boys have been rescued! Monday, GMT-7, Seattle, Washington, USA... 7:48 pm... What an amazing, real world event, that brought us all together in harmony for 13 human beings...it restores my faith. For the divers, thank you for the endless hours of practice to accomplish this feat. To the many governments, doctors, equipment suppliers, people of all faiths - for their many prayers, to the families who trusted in the plan...to the coach for teaching the children to meditate & trust (this isn't about how they got there - it's getting them out)...we can work together as people who care about the greater purpose. Yahoo, 5 more to go...the sickest are coming out last...
I’m Thai, from Bangkok, Thailand! I’ve been living in Las Vegas, Nevada, for 30 years now! I would like to say THANK YOU very much for your concerns and prayers for our Thai children and coach! Thank you for wishing them well and come out from the cave safely! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
David Kissner I didn’t comment or say anything bad about you! I just say thank you to those who pray for those children! Why do you have to be so nasty 🤢? Didn’t you go to school? Didn’t anyone teach you how to be nice, kind, and polite??? Well, I guess not!
Erik Lerström I didn’t really know why! I heard from the news, they were done from their soccer practice that day and decided to go for a a very short journey! They didn’t know it was going to rain that bad! To me, I respect everyone from every country comments. if you respect me! We are all human beings, right Erik? Thank you for your greeting! God bless you and your family😊❤️
I can’t even imagine what their parents are going through right now. To have ur child go missing, to then making peace that they’re more than likely dead, to discovering that they’re alive, and then to be told that they’re still in danger and their rescue is virtually impossible...what an awful range of emotions in such a short amount of time smh
A true hero, the world will never forget you Saman Gunan ...i just have seen the netflix film, its a emotionnal beautiful story, like the chilians miners...
The only real issue is if the coming rains make things worse. I'm not sure how big their pocket of air is or if they have anywhere to go if the flooding gets worse...hopefully they can fall back further if that happens.
Poor kids. My heart breaks for the coach. Can't imagine what he went through this whole time watching the kids get weaker not knowing if they'll ever be found.
Shirin Jarwan the food that they brought with them the coach did not eat he just give it to the kids , and also the coach is actually in the worst condition from a article I read
All the rescuers and assistants in the rescue team for the children and the coach deserve to be heroes and to present this story to Hillwood production film. The name of the death cave will also be changed to the name of the diver who sacrificed his life to save the children trapped in the cave. Who is with me?
Doesn't make any sense going that far in a cave , " in the dark " w. no shoes , no light even if it flooded it was still "dark" plus they are smiling too , too much and look at the bottom of their feet , pretty clear of any cuts for all the cave climbing and why aren't they squinting after " 9 days in total darkness " ...
After they went missing children didn't came back to their home, families and police searched the area near the football field and found bicycle and some of their belongings outside the cave entrance which was flooded by then. Suspecting they might be stuck or dead inside Thai Seal Divers went inside and found some more of their items in 3 rd chamber but no corpses, So after gathering more faith they went further deep and finally found them alive.
A lot of people are asking why these kids and their coach got inside a cave like this in the first place. Having grown up in SEA I can understand. Exploring caves, waterfalls, mountains and forests were what we did for recreation. It was exhilarating and it was the thrill of adventure. We were surrounded by nature so vast, beautiful and mysterious. We can’t help but try to discover what is in there.
So just a guess -- supply food, water, shelter, and medical help. Set up on site diving lessons. Meanwhile, others work in enlarging tight passages and others lay out spare oxygen tanks throuhout the route. Also, waterproof lights throughout the route. Wait for a break in the weather and try to bring out one kid a a time. This is going to be one for the books.
Nolsp currents in a cave are too strong..and at narrow passages they will be slammed towards rocks in darkness. Imagine the bottom of a waterfall and then sucked down. All in darkness.
Not difficult to dive. Lot's of professionals with cave diving and evacuation expertise to help guide each kid out.... plus advanced updated technology... just get the kids a bit healthier and stronger for this next stage.... Thai people are such amazingly positive people too... the kids are so healthy mentally too.... just logistics now!!!
Donna Dayle Have you ever been to Thailand? I have lived there for 6 years. Thailand always has extreme monsoon rains and the caves have been there since millions of years. There are caves which are still not discovered yet. Its just bad timing to visit those caves. So please stop your mother nature rage and anger and Global warming explanations. It's not the reason.
It also shows that God is more powerful than even mother nature!!! So thankful that he had these children in n his hands , kept them safe , and brought them out of the danger and home to the loving arms of their families.🙏💕💖
as a thai people, we are really appreciated all of you attempts which are really making them out safely. it cannot be done if we didn't get any your helps. by the way, Thailand alway give you a warm welcome! thank you so much.
As someonw who live in a country with a lot of caves this is not a "wtf" stuff, it's just like, outdoor fun stuff we do, except this one they did this at the wrong season
From what I heard, they entered the cave for some initiation and bonding thing, and all the parents agreed upon it. Guarantee you that none of them thought they were going to be trapped in the cave.
equal_ gamer They were looking for a giant octopus who raped one of their mothers and a chimp waited until they went into the cave and he flooded it 🐒🐵🐵🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧
Don't worry guys, great news! Everyone got out safely as of now! Salute to the divers, rescuers and especially to Saman Gunan, who died saving the children. RIP
do you think we can control nature, don't ever think even in your dreams. We are such a tiny part of this infinite universe.human thoughts are as small as humans in this universe and only we humans think we are advanced, tell all fellow humans they are dreaming all day and night.May be we will never wake up from our dreams.
Jaykumar Jk its not about overcoming mother nature its about human stupidity. Why would you go visiting a cave when the weather could change in the next 3 hours
Why? The cave was opened when they went inside. It's only closed from July-November. The blame should be thrown at officials who think June is a safe month to allow people to go inside.
I have been in a cave in which I had to dive underwater to get through to the next open passage. It was only about 20 feet long and had to go down only 3 or 4 feet. Yet having to trust someone that we can get through, having just torch light in muddy water, and knowing that there are hundreds of feet of rock above is an incredibly frightening experience. These Thai caves are much worse having to dive 20 feet down and going much further forward, as much as 100 feet in a narrow chamber with a fast current and having to remove the oxygen tank off the back because the passage is too small, and to do it with kids who can't swim and having multiple such dives to make. It is truly a nightmare to contemplate that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
This is a real life survival situation that doesn't look promising from all aspects. If nature has a relentless week, we could possibly hear about the worst outcome. Putting our differences aside then rooting for the tiny soccer/football players that will undoubtedly strike a nerve with parents across the globe, human professionalism and ingenuity will hopefully bring these boys to see the field once again.
12 kids+1coach are soccer team to travel in cave but the rain.. flood the cave close the way to out of cave.... 9 day.. thai navy seal and rescue teams to found them 4 km. from entrance no lighting no food & feel oxygen, it's a very danger cave ....6 day to rescue time..rescue 4 kids..to the hospital....and more time to rescue all before raining again....
In complete and utter darkness after approximately 24 hrs, the human mind looses track of time and is unable to realize how long you have been there...ie..no visual reference to anything.
Are you suggesting they didn't bring any flashlights to go cave exploring? If everyone had a flashlight when they went in, and if they conserved their light once they realized they were stuck, they could easily have power for weeks, used sparingly per survival protocol. It's possible people had phones, cameras, possibly a survival kit, etc also. The real question is, did anyone bring some weed?
RV Home and the fact is that all those devices loose battery charge 123 even not being used...so turning on and off will pull a lot of energy to start all the time so is a 👎
No, they said 4 months. Thailand's monsoon season is likely to last 4 more months. I'm not kidding with you, the worst has yet to come, rain will usually peak in September.
4 hours just to get in there in such conditions... big respects to these rescuers
R.I.P to the diver that tried to save them.😦
It was a stupid death too - he ran out of air. His own fault.
Nautilus1972 heartless
Nautilus1972 it's people like that diver that restore my faith in humanity. It's people like you that make me doubt it again. Heartless coward.
Nautilus1972 Here we have a specimen who has never achieved anything in life, saying that a death of a hero was "stupid" "
my salute to the rescue team especially to the first 2 divers which found the kids and the seal member who gave out his live during the rescue.
KS PS how did they found the kids if they are a mile inside the cave and flood waters are blocking the way?

Have anyone watched the movie Sanctum? This is a real life version of that movie. Its really scary. Praying for their safe return.
That's it!!! Sanctum! I knew I had seen something like this current cave rescue. I was thinking maybe the Poseidon remake.
I thought so too! That movie is scary enough and this is a real one😱😭
Ray Mak im more terrified if there is a monster as depicted in a 2005 movie the descent

John Smithee 😂😂😂😂
Also will be directed by Michael Bay and they’ll include a huge explosion as they come out
John Smithee I have a feeling it will.
Start the count down to the movie where Dwayne Johnson rescues 13 kids trapped in a flooded tunnel.
I vote on the Expendables. HaHaHa.
Richard T you guys are sick.. these are kids!
Richard T "daylight II"
With a helicopter!

All are saved. God blessed them. Military men are awesome. Real heroes.
Anand Betala I heard a diver died trying to rescue them
Yes... you are correct.
Anand Betala that's sad, was he one of the Navy seals?
Anand Betala Fuck your god
Ohh.jeses .... what the hell you are saying? Maybe be your count down started on this universe. Again God bless you.
I guarantee that Dwayne Johnson, Chris Pratt, or Mark Wahlberg are going to play one of the Navy Seal divers in the inevitably upcoming Hollywood production of this situation
CardinalRule non of them look like a Thai Navy Seal but i'm sure it won't stop hollywood making the US look like the heroes.
Or British cave divers two of which found them
Uh okay.
Dwayne Johnson would be too old for that role...
Since its 2 British diver, than it had to be either Gerard Butler or Henry Cavill
hell of a soccer team bonding exercise.
rebaxplosion they'll play soccer anywhere these days 😅😅😅
The word soccer cringes me everytime.

hahah, dumb Thais, coaching can be done on a soccer field, no need to go into caves
Play? In a cave? Let me repeat that, play.... in a cave?
Cave is a nature and a wonderful place to go. If they know they will get trapped, they will not go in the beginning. Nobody wants this to happen including the coach and the boys.
This really cleared it up for me xD
Just bring the scuba suit and oxygen tank....geez....
I see a movie coming
Zayzay Swag Tom Hanks

My salute to the rescue team and the retired diver that passed during the rescue. Wishing the boys a speedy recovery 🙏🏼
NO ONE DIED

Chancellor Wewuz - Haha how do you know this?
Note to self: don't go deep into a cave.
If it's too wide - wear a plank around your ass.
Put SCBAs on them and lead them out!
Or better yet, just don't go to Thailand.
Note to self remember to stay out of caves in monsoon season..
Toh Clark follow the instructions. There is a notice at entrance not to enter during monsoon season due to danger of flooding.
Can someone tell me why they were in the cave in the first place?
blackvelvet exploring apparently
blackvelvet they went to the cave while it's still dry but suddenly it started to rain & water bloked the enterance.. they went in even deeper to avoid the water
sorry for my bad english
Chappy Llama but why are they is cave for?
Because the coach wanted to give them a treat for doing so good

Thanks to all the rescue teams , they are all safe and out now but have to be in the hospital to have close eyes on them. Brilliant work rescuers 👏🏽👍🏽
I smell a new Hollywood Blockbuster!
hasan munir It will for sure be The Rock ! 😂👌🏼
Na that is just the pile of shit
Starring white kids? Followed by international outrage for white washing? Then followed by black outrage for some reason.
Why u make jokes such critical situations..plzz pray for them
jivenesspie Nothing more annoying than a self-hating white libtard like you.
If they made it this long, I have high confidence they will be OK. I just hope it doesn't rain like crazy there.

Watch 13 Lives by Ron Howard on Prime. You'll be impressed.

Gregory Maier being brave has nothing to do with it. You stay calm and fight you live else you die
The boys or the men.
Bylopati N Both and now one life claimed. Such a challenge to help these individuals!
thharrimw so true

Re Re hello from Australia
Correct. It is Thai Navy divers who are conducting the relief/rescue operations and two civilian British technical divers who first reached the trapped group. I don't know how Ben Reymenants fits in. He's a Dutch expatriate living in Thailand. He may just be acting as a media consultant, though.
Thailand actually has Navy SEAL?
Upper left hand corner for the first minute and a half it says Thai Navy SEAL.
Thailand have Navy seal and Recon Commando too
Props to the trainer for entertaining them and keeping them calm all the time. And talking care of all of them.
-What did you do?
-We went inside the cave
-And what did it cost?
-Everything.
Oh my goodness! I didn’t realize how difficult it is to get in and out. I am so worried to learn that it would take months to finally bring the kids out IF it is even possible. Poor kids.
It's definitely possible and they will get them out, though it will take a while.
Sara Novak i
Should try to rescue one boy at a time and have the divers guide them out, will take a couple of weeks better than waiting for months.
Joseph White xxxx
OMG just listening to them describing how the boys are trapped has me feeling very claustrophobic, I couldn't imagine being in this situation and the thought that they may have to stay down there for months is just crazy. Definitely keeping them in my thoughts and prayers ❤❤
Melissa McClain I agree with you. I really hope that they are able to get these boys out.
Melissa McClain - Amen.
Big deal. Nobody knows claustrophobia like me. I trapped little bikini girls inside my dressing rooms -- I was the only man! I am a BIG SUPERMAN HERO!
Pervert in Chief of Trumpkistan Donald! Is that you!?
Melissa McClain amen🙏🏻
Thank god they're all out and good job to everyone who helped. R.I.P the diver who died trying to help.
Glad to have them all safe and sound. Also, my respects to the diver that died in the rescue. He died a hero.
The mental toughness of those kids is awe inspiring. They are still smiling despite their predicament. Prayers for their continued health and safe rescue.
I just can’t imagine being in that situation. It’s amazing that they are in good spirits and able to stay like that for so long
The US will Help out once they find Oil in the Cave 😂
Lmao, op comment and your comment are funny
Trigger honestly I could care less about these boys. They could slowly drown for all I care. I just like being a fuck on TH-cam comment threads.
It’s a pointless place to comment and people take it so seriously I can’t resist pissing in their cornflakes.
Chancellor Wewuz Don't know if your trying to bait me but you do you
Chancellor Wewuz what if u were there and no one gives about you
He's baiting just forget this thread ever happened, except the original post and his first one they were hilarious lol
such a charismatic anchor...love her style
i must give praise to the coach for his leadership and keeping the boys alive and mentally and physically well for 10 days. please remember there is 12 boys under his care. it won't be easy for him. very well done coach.
The coach is a hero. He was a monk for 10 years before becoming the coach. He love those kids. And kids like him respect him and trust him . He is a good guy.
Kamparo you and your stinking disgusting coach are both jackasses who should never be in any leadershipo adventures.
Mohammed Hosein is that how a moslem supposed to reacts,if you pray for them including the coach that would've been better
A you a complete dumbass? The coach should be strung up as soon as they get him out, what the hell was he doing taking young boys into a dangerous cave complex in the monsoon season with no supplies, no proper clothing or footwear and without their parents knowledge.
@ ทุกนาทีมีค่า
So because he was a monk that gives him a free pass for being so negligent and putting these boys in such a dangerous and life threatening situation? I have heard all about how much monks love kids, just like catholic priests. He is no good guy and he should be charged with the full force of the law.
Wtf! That’s dark af pitch black if not
David Ly there is no way for any light to get down there so it is completely pitch black.
indeed. complete darkness.
Octavian Caesar Hibernicus No need to be so mad, boy
Imagine being down there so long when you first see the flashlights bright asf
Octavian Caesar Hibernicus why u mad
this would make a great movie i guess.
guitar warrior there are similar movies to this story
guitar warrior The Movie studio Vultures *ALREADY WERE THERE* every moment this was in the NEWS and ready for when the boys and their coach were brought {walking} out of the cave. Some have said this would make a great plot of a Movie. Add loveable pets who are also looking for their {child} owners AND i guess you've got a good #kids Movie for the School holidays of 2019? 😞😧ℹ🚑🚒🚔🎬🎥
This will make a good movie you mean.
PureFlix is on it
Woww incredible !!! Everyone around the world are interested this news from small and not famous country like Thailand !
Thank you from Bangkok Thailand !
British volunteers found them. Good to see an international response.
Hailey the Thai people stood back when to foreigners said they wanted to risk their lives...Sounds pretty smart....
Luke Robinson the limeys who best at everything
Their Coach Found them
Justin H 🤣
+Justin H why so?
So thankful for all the rescue teams doing their best down there.
I remember this as if yesterday. Thank god they all came back safely
I say thanks too but I'm not Thai nor does it matter if you are lol
stellvia hoenheim ok then FUCK U 2. if u don’t like our comments, then don’t comment anything !
Was there not a sign in front of the cave saying "Floods When it Rains"? There will be now I'd say. Awesome rescue.
Walt Robinson sure. They also said the rains were about 3 weeks early.
Usually they will close the cave during monsoon season, but the rain came early
They can survive for months if given food, water and oxygen. Worst camping trip ever though.
xuimod They need sunlight though
Random Guy We don't need sunlight we ain't fucking plants
you forget about waste eeh!
Robert Fredie They can do it in the water.
The only real issue is if the coming rains make things worse. I'm not sure how big their pocket of air is or if they have anywhere to go if the flooding gets worse...hopefully they can fall back further if that happens.
You already know they are going to make a movie out of this 😂
lunx BaSick Only if they make it out alive.
There all going to be ok! Keep hope alive always. Thanks to all the people involve in the rescue!
Thanks CNN. The cut away diagram tells the story better than anything.
Shirin Jarwan
Shirin Jarwan -call me
Shirin Jarwan hello from Australia
Gaming Authority yeah but so did their parents. I don't think we can blame anyone.
Wow. One can only hope for the best for them so they can see sunlight soon.... Sunshine days ahead.
AdemolaVictorTv I hope they make it out but if it rains again then I don't know if they will
AdemolaVictorTv thank you for your positive thought! We'll just keep them in our prayer🙏
Vanhnakhone Amphonephong absolutely🙏🙏👍
Really great breakdown CNN, good job in explaining and visually demonstrating what they're dealing with.
With a severe fear of drowning and severe case of claustrophobia. This is one of the scariest news reports.
Tell USA Theres oil down there, by Next week them soccer player will be out. Drilling would be start tomorrow.
Adelain Derosin lol true
Adelain Derosin ikr
Adelain Derosin agreed
Sounds like an unhinged liberal comment lmao
Sounds good to me, I didnt tell them to go get lost in that cave
Hollywood already thinking about making a movie 🎥 about this
CNN will help. CNN is quickly picking up with entertainment industry. They can dramatize things in a way that Spielberg can only dream about!
Watch the movie Sanctum. A movie about similar circumstances
what about Michael Bay directing it??
All the rescuers and assistants in the rescue team for the children and the coach deserve to be heroes and to present this story to Hillwood production film. The name of the death cave will also be changed to the name of the diver who sacrificed his life to save the children trapped in the cave. Who is with me?
There many lessons that we Filipinos can learn from this experience. My students did a good research on this event! This is one of a kind !!!
Everybody pray for these kid and hope for the best
stellvia hoenheim no they all alive in hospital now 🙏🙏 they are stronger kids 👏👏👏👏
*how the hell were they found*
Doesn't make any sense going that far in a cave , " in the dark " w. no shoes , no light even if it flooded it was still "dark" plus they are smiling too , too much and look at the bottom of their feet , pretty clear of any cuts for all the cave climbing and why aren't they squinting after " 9 days in total darkness " ...
SACTICAL BAG these kids are tough
Better question: *why did they go there with their coach?*
Olaf Lesniak cuz they watched Flintstone
A lot of people are asking why these kids and their coach got inside a cave like this in the first place. Having grown up in SEA I can understand. Exploring caves, waterfalls, mountains and forests were what we did for recreation. It was exhilarating and it was the thrill of adventure. We were surrounded by nature so vast, beautiful and mysterious. We can’t help but try to discover what is in there.
I think the rescue operation cost was less compared to the news reporter's hair spa costs.
😂😂
So just a guess -- supply food, water, shelter, and medical help. Set up on site diving lessons. Meanwhile, others work in enlarging tight passages and others lay out spare oxygen tanks throuhout the route. Also, waterproof lights throughout the route. Wait for a break in the weather and try to bring out one kid a a time. This is going to be one for the books.
Nolsp Not possible. There going to teach young children to dive professionally in under 4 months? They come out in 4 months when the water lowers.
Nolsp I got my next big movie script now someone pay me for it. Lol
Joshua CC W No, just enough to survive the trip and an assisted trip at that.
I'm so happy for them. 1O days of no food. No blankets. Tough boys.
They have been brought food but your right living in these conditions is very very difficult
yea they got food after 10 days
1hourOfLove ,a1₩
1hourOfLove they are really strong for surviving in a dark cold cave for 10 days without food getting wet
They had to have some food....in a back pack....
My prayer got answered .. the boys are safe so are the rescuers
God bless those boys and that amazing rescue team!
Just shows how much power the mother nature has .... gives me goosebumps ...😟😟😟😟😟
TheDragon_Fister well let's see what he will be able to do...
Mira mira ii
Mir
It also shows that God is more powerful than even mother nature!!! So thankful that he had these children in n his hands , kept them safe , and brought them out of the danger and home to the loving arms of their families.🙏💕💖
They should teach us how to swim. In schools.
they unable to dive not swim. they can swim but they have to dive deep to go outside the cave
lovina choi they are UNABLE to swim. This has been confirmed
No we need to learn about mitochondria
+Septian Candra only some of them
WHAT DO YOU MEAN ????????
Did CNN blame Trump for this one too?
as a thai people, we are really appreciated all of you attempts which are really making them out safely. it cannot be done if we didn't get any your helps. by the way, Thailand alway give you a warm welcome! thank you so much.
Umm, so my son went to football practice and AFTER that the coach takes them to a cave? Wtf?!
1hourOfLove They get used to with it. They traveled there more than once. Plan to make birthday party for 2 kids.
1hourOfLove does anyone know why he took them to the cave?
From what it sounds like, they were looking for shelter from the monsoon, but it backfired.
They have bond you won't understand
As someonw who live in a country with a lot of caves this is not a "wtf" stuff, it's just like, outdoor fun stuff we do, except this one they did this at the wrong season
The British divers were incredibly brave to beat the path to these kids so others could now follow. Still a long way to go though.
The fact that no one has reached out to Bear Grylls for help worries me.
k o Who?
For each shot he probably takes many cuts. Real life doesn't give cuts.. He is only good for the cameras..
Bear would make them eat bat shit because it's edible.....
k o 😂
He’s an actor mostly. He has rescue teams nearby on standby in case something goes wrong. He’s not a rescuer.
I want to know how they got in there in the first place, but I’ll just wait for the movie to come out.
From what I heard, they entered the cave for some initiation and bonding thing, and all the parents agreed upon it. Guarantee you that none of them thought they were going to be trapped in the cave.
That's a mean game of hide and seek.
equal_ gamer They were looking for a giant octopus who raped one of their mothers and a chimp waited until they went into the cave and he flooded it 🐒🐵🐵🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧
Norman Bates Are you 10 years old???
There was a rare Pokémon in there
Its a big relief because they are all rescued and now all of them removed from the cave😭 To all of the rescuers and divers, ALL OF YOU ARE HEROS!
Don't worry guys, great news!
Everyone got out safely as of now!
Salute to the divers, rescuers and especially to Saman Gunan, who died saving the children. RIP
poor kids. all they are going through. prayers for a safe journey home to their families.
we were in 2018 technology improves day by day still we cant really matchup with mother nature...
Jaykumar Jk ya so strange. I never knew such cave exist
Okay and? Next is year is 2019, thanks for stating the obvious
do you think we can control nature, don't ever think even in your dreams.
We never will.
I pray for their return.....God bless them
I wonder what it would be like down there if someone farted.
Farted? 10 days? They’re pooping down there without wiping, hun. I think you should be worried about a little more 😂😂
i would poop and then clean my butthole by putting my butt into the water and then wiping it with my finger
Divine what the fuck is wrong with you
You would be the one to ruin the water for them to drink
they drink that dirty water? that rain water went into a cave its pretty bad for a human to drink i think
This is insane.
I respect Coach who keeping the team of young kids alive and save.
The coach should be publicly flogged for taking them in there, if he makes it out alive.
Why? The cave was opened when they went inside. It's only closed from July-November. The blame should be thrown at officials who think June is a safe month to allow people to go inside.
I'm going to eat Thai food tonight in honor of this heroic achievement.
“Excuse us while we FaceTime our expert from Phuket, Thailand”
In cave diving you use sidemount diving technique where you have your bottles on the side not on the back
This is a real life survival situation that doesn't look promising from all aspects. If nature has a relentless week, we could possibly hear about the worst outcome. Putting our differences aside then rooting for the tiny soccer/football players that will undoubtedly strike a nerve with parents across the globe, human professionalism and ingenuity will hopefully bring these boys to see the field once again.
Cute Little Suzie ?
Climate change is fake news! Reality is fake news! The only thing real is MY GREATNESS and my smart genius LIES!
Cute - try exploring a cave 1.5 miles deep during the dry season, then come back with your tell all experience.
Po Tato If it rains again that would be funny as fuck! Lol 😂
Po Tato Stick in the mud buddy.
The real hero, coach and divers.
you mean CNN is doing some real news wow.
violin ladder man As they have been since their founding.
as a tr*mp supporter you dont get to decide whats fake and real news LOL, you support a fat fuck who lies daily
Biased Liberal News Network
violin ladder man immature republicans calling anything they disagree with “fake”.
Unlike Fox News. All they do is suck up to Trump and his hubby Putin
Can someone please explain to me how the hell they got in the cave
when they started to walk inside the cave in a long dictance it started to rain so the cave flooded and they couldent get back an they got stuck.
Edu Domin they were going exploring?
+Jake Daddio i guess so ,bc they went a long dictance inside the cave ,i think they felt curiosity of explore it .
DJ Angel-san - They were on a field trip with their coach it was dry when they went in but then it rained heavily so they got stuck.
They brought flashlights.
RV Home and the fact is that all those devices loose battery charge 123 even not being used...so turning on and off will pull a lot of energy to start all the time so is a 👎
My cave exploring flashlight will run for 72 hours on its lowest setting & I always have extra batteries in my survival kit..
This is like Plato’s Allegory of the Cave
Thank God, they are out!
Taimenator they arent

Thank THE PEOPLE WHO SAVED THEM. God made that cave, right?
Hopefully these kids will be the future of Thailand football
4 months? 4 Months? 4 MONTHS? 4 MOONTTTHSSS?!?!?!?!
No they said “for months” not “4 months”
For months for sure and 4 months possibly!
lol
If it's possible, give the kids an internet LAN and any entertainment gadgets for them. 😫
No, they said 4 months.
Thailand's monsoon season is likely to last 4 more months.
I'm not kidding with you, the worst has yet to come, rain will usually peak in September.
Anna had spicy Thai food on her lunch break and it's not looking good back at the hotel bathroom. "Back to you Tom"
