I really agree here. I love Coup something fierce, but I could never put my finger on why Coup G54 feels a bit worse to play. Some of the individual cards are fun as hell though.

Yeah, I will play as the Communist any chance I get, it's such a fun role. Overall, I still like G54, but the original is better.

I just got the base game and needed to know which expansions would enhance the experience. Probably gonna get them all anyway but I had to be sure which ones would be better for the game overall. Very helpful review
