Dozens rescued from Zipper ride at Wilmington church carnival

At least 20 people were rescued after an amusement ride malfunctioned at a church carnival in Wilmington, Delaware. Madeleine Wright reports.

Why would they interview the inspector as if he was part of the problem? What did they expect, for him to check the torque on every single bolt?
Btw, I have no idea whether the inspector bears any actual responsibility for this accident. But neither does the reporter, which pretty succinctly summarizes the issue the general public has with reporters these days.
As a completely neutral third party, I would delete this unless and until you determine the inspector fell below the applicable standard of care.

I never see the zipper anywhere anymore! That's like the best ride ever until this happens! I asked the owner of a carnival company yesterday at a fair and they don't usually bring the Zipper ride anymore because of s*** like this.

Did he just say 3 hours they had to wait to get off the ride? Oh my God I have ADHD I won't be able to sit through that!

Yes I was on this ride it took 3 hours for us to get off of it luckily I was towards the bottom so I got off fast
