      I kinda agree, but part of me wants to believe that now that Bending Spoons is closer to fixing the backend and making all the stuff under the hood work better, they can leap ahead others with how AI functionality gets integrated into the notes experience.
      I have been disappointed with Evernote so many times, for so many years, that the hopes are pretty low. But hey, it’s a possibility at least.

      @migueltoledo1884 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Indeed. I had 50 notes a few years ago. Now I couldn’t imagine being limited to such a low amount. You’d have to basically not use your notes app at all at that point. But if that’s the case - Google Keep and Apple Notes is all you need.

      @@migueltoledo1884Exactly. Notes and folders / notebooks are just a basic necessity of any note taking app. Actually a bit surprised anyone is actually making a big deal about the new pricing. Also, Evernote has had a makeover for sure, but it’s still WAY behind other note taking and task apps. Not sure who’s actually paying for it these days other than fans.

      I could not stomach paying more for Evernote than I pay for all applications under Microsoft's Office 365. Especially when my use cases are so simple. If they had kept a tier between Free and the new Personal tier, and priced it at the old Personal tier rate, I might have stayed. And I was a 12 year paying subscriber. They could have brought me along, but the near doubling in price killed Evernote for me based on the simple use cases I was utilizing. Well-said, it’s been >5 years since you walk away, in technological terms, they have ALOT and a mountain of delivery to do in the least, showing how they’ve caught up and perhaps exceeded the competition in their own niche space in all that time, BEFORE they can even try to aggressively price their way into people’s hearts n minds again. But perhaps their goal is to convince a new generation (Gen 00?) of users and pretend legacy users have walked away and left the chat 😂

    Francesco, This is a good slant on the changes in the paid plans. Much better than how it came across in the market. I still believe that I might have stayed with Evernote rather than leaving after 12 paid years as a subscriber, if there had been a plan closer to my expected budget and still handling my use cases. Instead the plan nearly doubled and provided me features I don't utilize at all. A plan in between the new improved personal plan and the free plan could have shifted free users to paid and kept paying subscribers like me who did not want to pay nearly double the price as last year.
