sick video! any tips for getting through CEODD? I am comfortable with treading but struggle with doing crossovers for long periods of time which I know they do a lot of at prep. Thanks!

Simply stay motivated and remember to eat healthy and continue to train during your free time. Not sure if your done with boot camp yet. If you aren’t train in laundry room and watch what you eat in the galley there. Regarding CEODD give it your best each workout and try to cheat the workouts. Each workout overtime will help you grow stronger and be able to pass IWPS and later on Diver School. Watch your drinking if your of age and take care of your feet etc. Keep them dry and clean.

@@davidruiz3859 thanks man! I appreciate the advice and just to clarify you said try to cheat the workouts over at ceodd? as in you can get away with things if they don’t see? (like kicking off the wall during crossovers or something) Thanks for the tips, i’m about to graduate corps school and will head to ceodd from texas in january. best of luck in the fleet!

@@TheManlyMonocle Definitely don’t cheat anything in this pipeline. You get caught you will be get beat, kicked out. Have seen some guys sent undesignated to the fleet for cheating on something as basic as rep count. Also cheating in stuff like over unders will come and bite you in the butt later in training pass fail stuff. Simply work hard and do what they ask. If you not sure or struggling ask instructors for guidance.

were you guys authorized to wear brown boots? planning to re-reate and just trying to get a decent idea of the sop's

Really depends on your instructors. But for example in my class only fleet returnees were allowed to wear brown boots. I had to wear black boots till I went to DIVE School.

Just got My EOD contract excited to go. Are the classes mixed with divers and eod?

Awesome Congratulations on passing the PST. Make sure to keep training and stay motivated. Classes are divided between those going EOD and ND pipeline.

David Ruiz what about Dive Med techs? Currently in A school at fort Sam but not too much info on there about DMT dive school experiences.
Are DMTs in the same class as EODs and NDs? Also are you ever doing 50 yard underwater crossovers? Or just 25 yard?
Any advice for Pool hits? How long do you have to hold your breath whilst getting the shit kicked out of you underwater?

TheMaheecan First don’t stress yet about crossovers and breath holding. You will have no issues with it if you pass Prep. DMTs are in the ND class all the way till half way into Dive school then they separate and go to have more in depth medical lessons and then return back into our class. Focus is do your best at A school and train as much as you can. Tread and swim as much as you can. Be comfortable when you are uncomfortable in the water.

@@davidruiz3859 thank you for getting back to me. Any advice apart from putting out and not giving up?

TheMaheecan not really. If you have those two rest will workout. Pass this programs is about genuinely wanting to be part of them. You will notice people fail out who are physically fit but aren’t committed mentally.
