DJI Fly 1.13.8 Major Bug!! App Crashes!! See What Causes This!

The new version of DJI Fly, version 1.13.8, released yesterday, June 27, 2024, seems to have a fatal bug in it. The app predictably and constantly crashes with regards to waypoints. Watch and find out what happens.

As of today, I tried and was in mid mapping flight and my controller crashed. At first, there was a severe lag, and I had no control of my aircraft or at least could not see where it was at or going, and then my screen went black. I rebooted my controller as quickly as possible, and regained full control of my drone with no lag. And brought it home as quickly as possible. This is with the latest software that I updated last weekend. Tried to do a much smaller mapping job and didn’t make it 30 seconds without my controller crashing.

Oh boy, and here I thought they'd fixed this issue. Thanks for letting me know! I'll keep an eye out to see if others are having the same problem.

You're welcome! DJI has released yet another update today, version 1.13.9, which apparently fixes the issue. I will be updating shortly and will let everyone know the results.

Can confirm, Same exact thing happened to me Friday night. Crashed when trying to load new maps after update.

After the update, My camera was disconnected from my RC 2, and couldn't reconnect as mentioned in the tutorial.
So I re- pair my aircraft as the holy stone HS 720 G do.

Yes, they just released 1.13.9 today and I've heard it fixes the issue. That was fast! I'll upgrade again and take a look at this today.

This update doesnt exist anymore, they pulled it and now its just 1.13.9 with no problems
