Yes! They always give a plate or basket of fresh veggies with most noodle dishes and yea that berry was a lot like Sichuan peppers with the numbing effect but it was the size of a very small blue berry and a darkish colour.. sorta crumbles in your mouth after you chew 😅 I would not eat that on its own again haha but they explained the leaves came from that plant 🙂

Great food, people are friendly, each city is rather distinct but it can definitely be a bit of a culture shock for those that haven't been to other South East Asian countries before especially when it comes to the traffic and cleanliness I suppose (especially if you're comparing to other Asian countries like Singapore and Japan which are very orderly and clean). Definitely a great experience though, full of history, culture, and beauty. Although it's hot it's a nice therapeutic heat I reckon and the pressure they use you can ask them to go harder or softer but I liked the amount of strength they used, felt just right for me ☺️ hahah thank you 😅 I couldn't think of another word that seemed more appropriate than "yoink".. like a quick pull lol 😂 Aww you recognize yum as food for sure haha it really was all really delicious food everywhere we ate but that banh xeo sizzling eggy hot crepe thing was so new for me and absolutely delicious. Hey guys! Da Nang is definitely a great holiday destination for tourists and locals alike 🙂 These food places were more on the locals side. Yea it was a really nice massage, definitely felt like a cross between Balinese and Thai but that heated bamboo was unique and relaxing for our muscles 🙂👍 Vietnamese food is yum! Everything looks amazingggggggggggggg! We love Vietnamese food especially me (Ony). Our favourite could probably be the first spot and the last spot! We love Vietnamese pancake so much here in Melbourne. The crepe from last spot looks like the mini version of Vietnamese pancake. Super yummmm 😍 And all those exotic leaves too, every single leaf is a surprise, love it 👍

So many yum as dishes here in Vietnam and we feel blessed getting to try them all. Our money really stretches a long way here which is awesome (and lucky for us since we wanna eat so much) hahah. That massage helped us make more room for food lol 😁

It was so hard to find at first because it was down such a tiny alley way and then once you get there, there are so many restaurants with the same name! 😂😁 Banh xeo is my favourite though! Mi Quang is a favorite of mines! The caramelized pork is a home-cooked dish I make at home!! It's so amazing!! Great with white rice!! Those eggplants is cooked so well... The garlic prawns looks mindblowing

It's quite a different place with each city rather unique too especially with their specialty dishes 🙂 We love massages so when we found out about that one we were like.. def gotta try that! Was funny needing to pop up part way to get the footage of the lady rolling Peter's back and avoid getting any butt shots of him hahaha 😂😅

Mi Quang is a favorite of mines! The caramelized pork is a home-cooked dish I make at home!! It's so amazing!! Great with white rice!! Those eggplants is cooked so well... The garlic prawns looks mindblowing

Oh man we totally understand lol Thai massages are the best!! We love them too! This Vietnamese one was really nice and relaxing though with the hot bamboo. Nice experience 👍 minus the whole needing to jump up mid massage so I could take the video of Peter getting the bamboo rolled on his back hahah 😂 massages are crazy expensive in NZ too so it's definitely a luxury there as well! - Yen
There's also a caramelized shrimp, that sometimes goes with the caramelized egg & pork. Since seafood is expensive, I guess they omit that.
