I don't know about other theories but in my opinion I think it is about Jisung experience in love. Notice that it's called dream-verse so something like the spidey-verse with the different times or dimensions. In time one or dimension 1 Jisung likes someone and gave them a candle but they gave Mark instead which ended up back to jisung, causing pain or sadness in the heart. Time 2 or dimension 2, Someone gave the candle to jisung but Mark blew it out. The candlelight signifies hope for the relationship with that person but Mark blew it out so that last hope that jisung had is gone so he ends up sad and in pain as well. In time 3 or dimension 3, it seems that jisung has the candle to gift to that special person but he is afraid to give it to them because he knows that that person likes someone else which caused against pain and sadness. So to sum up, in all the dream-verses Jisung's hope finding love always ended up with pain and sadness like a hot sauce feeling that burns your heart.

Can I just say how pleased I am that you have swerved into Renjun's lane? His vocals just continue to improve and for me he is such a likeable, thoughtful, witty kid. He has really climbed up my fav list since Boom and just keeps getting better.
Flavour/Hot Sauce is the title track! Diggity is indeed another b-side. Though, judging by the fact that it has choreography, I think it might be one that they’ll promote alongside Hot Sauce at music shows. As for theories... oh boy, there’s So many and it’s all a little bit confusing to me, and everyone else, too. Rainbow is my favourite of the three for now (the lyrics hit quite hard), but I love, love, love all three of the tracks. Alsoooo, as a fellow Renjun bias (well, he’s literally my ult) I feel you! I feel you. His voice in rainbow quite literally brought me to actual tears.

Also I don't really know about theories, but, even though I watched them a coupple of times, I just noticed that at the end of Diggity Jisung asks about the menu Jeno did earlier, but in Rainbow that had happend in Haechan's dream... so I'm not sure how the dreamverse works...
there's this series called 7llin in the dream where the dreamies went on a trip together and it has 6 episodes and it's so much fun you should react to it
Dreamverse also works in with the overall NCT concept of meeting each in the unconscious. And members wake from dreams in the little plotlines too... they are weaving the cafe concept from earlier in. I am sure the love potion/lab concept will also make an appearance. They took the track video concept and pushed it that one step further to tell a whole story or series of stories. Great albums often have an overarching progression or storyline to them (ala 127's Regular-Irregular) and this is just a genius way of approaching that. So excited :D

I think the candle is just a metaphor or symbolism for something and today theyre dropping something called jalapeño! Scoville 275 which we all have no clue as to what it is. So maybe the story line will continue?
