    Besides meditation, intuition is the next best thing people had and should always have. For the population that has forgotten it, I wish more people can rediscover meditation/intuition/listen to yogi bhajan!

    Sri Ravishankar Guruji is making it secret to learn we r forced to join the class,but I felt very happy to learn this Sudarshan chakra freely in this web...Thanks to Guruji

      Dear, what Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji teaches is a different yoga, it's called sudarshan kriya and it's totally different from this sudarshan CHAKRA kriya. Both are different.

    Sat nam ji, you can start from 3 mins. or 6 or 11 or 21 or 31 or 62 or 2hs. rest on your back when you finish, if you go for 31 minsl or more then rest on your back for for 15 mins. , I am a yoga teacher and started with 31 mins., then 62 for like 3 months, now I want to go back to practice it again since it gave me a big push for things I could not accomplish, it is a great, great, one of the big ones in meditation, and there are not thousands of them!!!

    You do the Kriya's exactly as he says. And no other way!! Do not mess with or alter the teachings, please! :)
    This is one of the TOP Kriyas of all yogas - and of all 20 forms of yoga.
    Unless - as is the case slightly here - there are discrepancies with the KRI approved book version of this Kriya. Then you follow the book, because often he refined the exercises later and clarified them.
    So, it's highly recommended you get this Kriya as shown in the KRI books.

    How have you found the Light deep within your nucleus?
    Without teeth, how can you eat iron?
    O Nanak, without the Name, how can one be absorbed in Truth? and many many many more!

    I notice on some sites, including 3HO, the instruction now mentions to pull the navel 1/3 successively on "waheguru." For years I've been following the instructions that indicate simply to pump without the specificity of 1/3. Does anyone know why this 1/3 has been added?

    A Muslim says that he is the best of all, whereas a Jew says that his status is better than that of a Muslim. A Christian says that he is better than both and even better than all the other religions because he is from the nation of the "Son of God" (Jesus).
    But Gohar Shahi says:
    "The sublime and most elevated is the one, who has love of God in his heart, though he may not belong to any religion."

    I have been doing this kriya on and off for some time, i love this
    specific kriya and i normal do it in the morning, but my left kidney
    gets in sharp pain when i do this specific kriya and only this kirya,
    perhaps im doing it for to long or perhaps its because i do it straight
    in the morning but if you have any understanding why this is happening
    to me i would like to know your thoughts. thanks.

    Hello! I have a question about this Kriya. How do you look at your nose so your eyes won't hurt ? And also how to do it for 40 days straight if you are on your period ? Thank you!

      Look through 1/9 opened more like down and one day a tension will go off. Don't put on a pressure from the beginning.
      On your period don't pump your navel. Hope this helps.

      With sincerely absorbed in meditation, eyes will automatically open like thin line, no need to force open and look, let it happen on its own, with depth of practice, no serious issue if it doesn't happen or take its time, doing is easy and clear way is important
      Second question during period, can also do at bed in lying position, on your back, no objection, enjoy the clear senses of it, remembering the word is key part

      During your period pump very lightly and you can do 1 or 2 pumps. I've also done this while lying in bed at night.
      As for the gaze, start with eyes almost closed, looking down, don't worry about the nose. Ease into it.

      No, you need to be pumping the navel, it's a key element. If 3x is too hard at first, start with 1x per chant, then 2x, etc.

      @@katashley1031 im unable to do longer then few minutes. it goes numb and has uncomfortable feelings if doing long term. Have no issues with all the other practises though, so its very wierd

      @@katashley1031 after testing many years im convinced its not for me. I feel positive effects its trying to do, but there are some other elements that are not needed for me. I have to listen my body and trust it. That kind of kriya is usually for peoples who are more dominant aggressive like the bhajan himself, so it might be one reason.

      i noticed there is another description with wha navel goes in little hey more and guru completely so its 1 pump, but another description says pump on each word. so both are correct or 1
