Coastal Connections: Sustainable Engineering Solutions

In this second workshop in our Coastal Connections online series, we explore a range of hard-engineering and nature-based solutions for the conservation of coastal heritage sites worldwide, including Fort Berkeley (Antigua), Cape Hatteras (North Carolina, USA) and many more. Our international panel includes Christopher Waters (National Parks Authority, Antigua), George Jaramillo (U.S. National Parks Service), Francesca Ingrosso (Venice Sustainability Foundation), and Rohit Jigyasu (ICCROM). Questions and round-table discussion led by Alex Kent (Coastal Connections Lead, WMF Britain) and Rob Woodside (Estates Director, English Heritage).
Coastal Connections is a joint initiative between World Monuments Fund and English Heritage to facilitate knowledge exchange and best practice amongst site managers, communities and those who care for coastal heritage sites worldwide. Our series of workshops draws on case studies and real-world experience to offer new perspectives, broaden understanding and explore practical solutions for improving the sustainable management of coastal heritage sites.
