You’re so right! It goes with literally everything. I plan to exchange it this weekend since this one has some issues. Hopefully they have another one in perfect condition in stock. But I really love how it looks and feels.
The “oily spot” does not seem to be there at the beginning of the video. You sure it’s not from natural oil or lotion in the hands? Either ways, over time shiny patina will develop on parts that are touched/handled a lot, which is the nature (and beauty) of glove-tanned leather. If that’s not desirable, maybe you should go with more treated/heavily finished leather like saffiano.
That’s really good to know. It’s odd because I didn’t see it when I opened the bag but it’s concentrated on that one spot. It’s such a beautiful bag so I’m hoping they can exchange it for me in store. Thank you so much for watching and providing that feedback. It’s very helpful.
I want to buy revel bag 24 but i put lotion on my hand everytime it feel dry so that means the lotion will transfer to the bag and give that oily mark? Noo thank u

It looks like it is an imprint from the closure as opposed to a stain, but then again I could be wrong.

The Rogue is so good! I’m still waiting for Coach to send me the replacement since mine had a spot on it. But it’s truly a quality bag and looks so classy yet edgy. If they come out with a green one I’ll be all over it!
Wow! I didnt know this bag came in all black, gorgeous! I have it in colorblock (black, oxblood and brass hardware) and absolutely love it, and roomy. I hope that oily spot is just its natural oil and nothing serious. New friend here btw and tfs this video, i enjoyed it 😊❤

I'm glad you purchased the Rogue. You won't be disappointed despite the oil mark. I find that like the old school glovetanned leather you'll get oil marks and water spots on the bag. I sprayed my bag with Apple Guard. I haven't had any problems with oils and water marks. Take it back and get another one.
This is all your fault! Lol! When I saw you inbox yours I knew I had to check it out. I’m going to definitely exchange it because I can envision wearing it a lot. Thanks for the Apple guard tip - I’ve only used it on vachetta leather so it’s good to know I can use it on this. 🩷🩷

Omg! I love this bag!! I love how it’s under stated. Plus it’s all black. I want one. You can wear it with jeans and leggings then also take wear a dressy outfit. I love it. I wonder if that’s a stain from lotion and people open and closing
It’s SO good!! I think the stain is from opening/closing. I’m guessing people handled it before I bought it. I didn’t even notice it until I was doing the mod shots! But Coach exchanged it without incident so my replacement should arrive this week.
Yep YT will do that to you. This is why I had to take a break from YT. You can get sucked in with buying what you see here. Ok girl, that Chanel 19 is GORGEOUS.......The Rogue is beautiful. I love the chain detail as well. It adds a little edginess to the bag...In my option

Absolutely! I returned it to the store last night and they ordered my replacement (they didn’t have anymore in stock) so I should receive it this week! The Coach SA was lovely, super helpful and accommodating. She made the exchange process very easy. I’ll be sure to provide an update once I receive it.
Thanks for sharing! My bag came with scratches on it. They were on the flap of the bag and the back. This is a 700.00 bag. That was not going to work. I couldn’t see the oil spots. But if it bothers you , you could exchange it.
Right!!! I know bags are going to show signs of use but I want to be the one making those signs! It’s truly a beautiful bag - Coach returned it without any issues and is sending a replacement. Fingers crossed the new bag is perfect.
It is a beauty to bad it is defective. I just bought a Cassie 19 the inside is set up the same. The outside has the softer pebbled leather that has a good stretch to it so stuff really fits good inside. I have a YSL Hollywood bag that is all black. Very sharp bag as is yours, good luck on getting a perfect one.
I love the Cassie 19! I missed out on the one in the Tiffany blue color. I’m pretty confident Coach will exchange mine without any issues so hopefully I’ll be wearing my new one next week (going to exchange the one I have this weekend). The key is to only walk out with the exchange and not also the silver metallic Tabby they have (#willpower 🫣)! I know your YSL is lovely - they really have the best quality leather. That is a nice bag I love that it is a top handle I like that it has a lot of pockets I love the black hardware 🫶 the strap itself cost a lot I love the braided look hopefully they let you know why it has a stain your Chanel bags are beautiful

The algorithm kept recommending your video and I'm glad I watched. I REALLY LIKE THAT BAG - Rogue Top Handle 👀. Why? Its clean, classic, simple but edgy, and NO LOGO/MONOGRAMS. Finally a designer bag with no logo. I'm not even a big Coach fan. The only purse I liked was the original desgin of Tabby 26, but they stop making it, and replaced it with the newer design.

Hahahaha! Coach was my first love so I’ve been a fan for a looooonnnnggg time. Their leather is superb and I’m really drawn to their newer designs. I’m also a fan of D&B 🫣. I don’t have any MZ Wallace yet but I heard their bags are pretty phenomenal and are great for traveling. My Longchamp totes are in constant rotation - so so good! I’m not sure if that bag had been a display or not but that issue in the front looks like wear from the bag being closed a lot. 🤔 I OVERstand when you see a flaw it pops out like a zit everytime you look at the bag. I hope they have another one cuz it’s really pretty. Especially with that matte black hardware. I love that!!!

Thank you, Carla! The matte look is a whole vibe! I’ve been really impressed with Coach’s designs lately - I have my eye on a few more items (just trying to exercise some restraint). I took my bag to the store and they exchanged it for me easily. They didn’t have any in stock so they’re express shipping me the replacement (should be here this week).
I meant to say Coach, not LV. It was late and I should have been in the bed, but got caught up in the unboxing. I may need to make a trip to Coach myself! Still living that bag!
What about the Coach Tabby Quilted 26” ?
The Tabby is amazing! I’ve tried on a few of the 26 size and they’re beautiful. I ended up buying a Tabby 20 in the dark stone color and I’m loving it.
I got this bag & the Rogue 30 a little over a week ago. I was so disappointed that a dust bag was not provided for either bag. The Rogue Top handle also has a slightly crooked flap. I so don’t want to go through the return process on it. Otherwise the Rogue 30 is such a show stopper!
Oh No!! They should absolutely come with dust bags!! That’s not cool and I know it’s frustrating! If it’s any consolation, Coach made it very easy for me to exchange my rogue top handle. They didn’t have any in stock at the store but they’re shipping a replacement (should be here this week). When I was in store I tried the Rogue 25 - it is a stunning stunning handbag! Hopefully Coach makes it right for you and exchanges the rogue top handle (a crooked handle is not acceptable) and also sends you the dust bags. Thank you so much, Dallas, for watching. Reason why I don’t like the glovetanned leather you have to be “too careful”. It’s a bit stressful because the hands have natural oils.

Hi Dana, watching your unboxing now and what you have in the bag it's not a stain, it's a mark on the leather from the top of the push lock hidden in the top flap. It may look more clean and sleeky but cause there's a metal plate inside the flap, sooner or later the same it's gonna happen in any other bag with the same kind of closure 😬 The leather quality may look like the vintage Coach bags but the construction or the hardware can't be compared unfortunately 😔 There was a reason why the vintage bags were closed with turnlocks or zippers... There was no chance of happening to a brand new bag just arrived from the shop what happened or will happen later to any other one that has the top of a push lock pressed between 2 layers of leather 🤷🏼♀️

I exchanged the bag on Saturday so the replacement should be here this week (they didn’t have any in stock at the store).
