They were so talented - do you have any idea what happened to them? I saw the Fools are still playing. The Neighborhoods played together for a long. La Peste put out an album. Cindy Bullens had her 15 min of fame too. But nothing from one of the best!
@@jordanmodell Mr. Curt is still around - has a Soundcloud, seems to be specializing in covers nowadays. Drummer Rick Martin sadly passed away a couple years ago. Not sure about the rest of them. I'm with you, they were one of my fave Boston bands.
I always wondered if this band wrote this song about famed wrko talk show host Jerry Williams because he came back to Boston sometime in the early '80s and had a very large following and talk radio course. This song came out in 1980 and I'm not exactly sure when Jerry came back to Boston but he was a prominent talk show host in the 1960s who also had several interviews with Malcolm x back then.
This was Big Matteress song of the week on Wbcn
Grt song I have this 45 along with so many others from the Boston bands from the 80s what a time for local music
...and we're still just "talking about it". Perhaps more relevant today than when this song was released.
Omg can’t believe I found this
Tight n hooky. Great recording.
What a wonderful song that reminds me of early Ultravox!
thank you for posting !!! they were one of my fav bands in college. I played this single so often I wore it out
