That was by far the most enjoyable Ben’s Worx videos I’ve seen. No music! Even though it was an instructional video I really enjoyed more talking, and more shop sounds. I even liked the check on the rain!
Thankyou
I really enjoy no music too
Yes I agree, and I wanted to add. My father has been gone since 1992 but I like to think that if he were alive, he would just absolutely LOVE to watch your channel. And this makes me smile. I'll watch for both of us ❤.
12:50 I always love the part of sphere turning where you're removing "invisible" material because of how fast it's going.
I really enjoyed seeing how all the tools were used and how the measurements were made! This was really interesting. Thanks Ben!
Thankyou
Wonderful video! You are not only a superb creator, you are a fantastic teacher, as well. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos. I hope you are doing well!😊😊👍👍
Thankyou, I really appreciate it
I'll probably never use those tools but I really enjoyed the tutorial. That's a lot of work time, the orb is beautiful. Thank you 👍
Thanks Alison
I love the tutorial mate. Thank you. Would love to see more of them.
Thankyou
Absolutely loved the instructional. Thanks Ben
Thanks Mate
Really liked the walkthrough. If looking for ideas, maybe a video showing your workspace/workshop, the tools you use for your projects, chisels you use, how you keep them sharp etc.
Thankyou
Very clear and concise instructions, many thanks, always a pleasure to see a craftsman doing what he does best 💕🦆
Thanks Pam
Watching this sparked a new idea... What if you recreated one of the stones from Indiana Jones, but with a burl base and Indy inside? Just a thought. Great job as usual.
Thanks so much Brn this has made this process so much easier to understand from begining to end. Love your work
Your videos are fabulous! I enjoy them with or without music! Rain, hail, or sunshine I’ll still be watching🤗
That was incredible! Thank you for the tutorial! It’s beautiful!
Absolutely love the close up cutting shots!
Glad too see you feeling better
Thankyou
Awesome! Hope ur feeling better. Sending healing vibes
Thankyou
A thorough and competent tutorial. Thank you!
I hope you are feeling better.
Thankyou
Would have loved to see you polish as well. Gorgeous piece
Thank you for explaining the process. I find it very interesting. I love learning how things work and how things are done.
Very instructional. I like to see all your tools in use. Thanks for the lesson.
I really liked this one, I really liked the "one shot" aspect from start to finish on the complete process and the ins and outs on what was happening. Not the video I was expecting but I really enjoyed the process. Thank you Ben!
That video was very enjoyable! Thank you for showing us how to use the tools and the process behind making a sphere. Thank you for talking your way through the video. I really appreciated the inputs! ☺️💜
Thanks Mel 😊
Hey Ben
Wow, I did know it was not an easy process, I now appreciate your work even more.
Thank you for sharing this 🙂
Take care😊
Love a good sphere
Absolutely stunningly Beautiful ❤
Thankyou
Pretty cool tutorial, very interesting. And the end result was quite pretty cool too.
Fantastic turn!!!
Thankyou
Thoroughly enjoyable educational video. Loved it 👍
This was so interesting! Perhaps we could all come and be your apprentices! 😁
I like this a lot! Good to see your process.
Thankyou
Absolutely Beautiful video! I love being taught new things that I'll probably never do... But I still love learning your process. Thank you for doing that in just about all of your videos! You are an excellent teacher.
I really, _REALLY_ enjoyed the fact that you took time out of your day to acknowledge the simple Glory of the rain falling outside of your workshop. Thank you for that, too!
Awesome Video Ben'S Worx and i hope you are all well.
Thanks Mate
Am I the first viewer? Wow I feel honored. Love the channel. Keep them coming!!
Thankyou
That turned out great 👍 I hope you are feeling much better
“Turned” 😂
'So when you're doing this part just sneak up on it because you don't want to go too deep' That's my favourite part Ben 😆
Ben gettin' jiggy with it!❤❤
Thanks Connie 😊
You make it look so easy.
Pretty cool, Ben! thanks for sharing!
Thanks Mike
what a lot of time to such a simple creation! i never realized how much effort those amazing masterpiece will take, so it's awesome to see a little part of it. i really like the asmr kind of style for this video.
Great video. Really enjoyable to follow.
Thankyou
Ben, I love this kind of video. Thanks
I have always loved learning how things work. This was such a fun video! Thanks Ben ❤
Great video, Ben.
Bill
Thanks Bill
That’s gorgeous
Thankyou
❤ Yeiiiii!!! New video. 🎉
BENS GETTING JIGGY WITH IT 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂
What a tease I want more! 😊
Enjoyable video. Easy to watch and understand why you used tools and how you used them. 👍👏👏👏
Love all the videos, this one was nice because you see it a lot and its nice to know how its used from start to finish. Might have to pick up one of these jigs and try my hand at spheres!
Ben your work is amazing. Your projects always seem to turn out beautifully. I was wondering if you could try to do a sphere with a 20 sided dice in it ?
Another breathtaking piece
Love it beautiful, love the tutorial video
That was a really interesting walkthrough of the process. Thanks Ben. How about showing us how you sharpen the chisels?
Very cool, Ben!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
HEY BEN FROM MISSISSIPPI 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👋👋👋👋👋👋
Hi Fred
hi Ben huge fan i would love to see how you clean up the shop after turning resin :)
Great work manship. The design looks so beautiful 👍👍
Very nice instructional video, Ben! I enjoyed it, but just so you know, I also enjoy your other videos, including the music.
This is thoroughly enjoyable and very informative. It would be really cool if you interspersed videos like this among your regular content occasionally.
Wonderful video
Beautiful
Very cool looking sphere.
bout to make this a drinking game.. everytime you say "jig" we drink!
Mr. Baden. Jeff Barry from Hershey, Pennsylvania. I just got this idea for a project for you to do since they make Twizzlers licorice or twist. You might call them in my hometown. I was thinking, maybe you could do something with different colors of Twizzlers candies where they have multi colors is the pull and peel in a licorice twist they only have red brown and black.
That piece would look soo cool as a handle on a walking stick.
Love this egg, so pretty
Thanks for explaining everything!!
Thanks for the tutorial Ben. I am going to look into the Vermec jig. I have a Jet 1221 and haven’t been able to find a sphere jig that will fit it.
No worries mate, they make them to suit your lathe
Get “Jiggy” with it!
I'm in texas and I feel like I haven't seen rain in a year.
Great video, thanks. Also thanks for the Just Resin code, as they have always been excellent and quick in sending, with it being here in under a week normally, unlike another Australian based resin company which is 3 weeks and counting with no sign of my resin - they may be cheaper, but cheap is not reliable and I'd happily pay a bonus and get stuff when I want.
Thanks Mate
This was a really enjoyable video! Thanks mate
🎉I absolutely loved this tutorial, I mean I love all your videos, but really enjoyed this one. Please can we have more tutorials xXx
Awesome video and showing us how it's done. I will admit, I personally missed the big reveal with your music in the background on the slow turn table... maybe we can get a close up pic, please? (It looked so cool in the little pic-in-pic but my pones too small to see it well)
Edit: spelling.
Well done... More woodworx please Ben.
Thankyou
@@BensWorx Love seeing the ;lathe art work as it takes a real skill to drive it. That's whu I origanally subbed. love the skill and he rewrds from doing it. You're truly blessed there. Also thanx for the fragon book. dmsller than expected but love it. Brought it for my daughter. Stay safe and God bless
Nice instructions!!
Really good video Ben
I enjoyed the video. I've wanted this sphere jig for quite some time but unfortunately nobody sells it it the US.
Great video.
Very nice. I'll have to get me one.
That sphere is so beautiful. I think I would love a dragon egg inside a sphere. Does the castoff resin itch?
Thanks Lynn, nah I’m fortunate enough not to be allergic to resin
In one way i was thinking the 'waste blocck' could have been a nice piece of hardwood which would become the base, though adding lights might need a bit of thinking
Woohoo!
Cool video! Thanks Ben! Are you feeling any better?
Thankyou, yeah I’m recovering well
Beautiful peace , can you tell me where to buy the cups for the tail stock. Thanks
What are the blue and yellow live point holder called and where can we purchase them? Great vid!
Superbe travail les oeufs sont vraiment magnifiques.
Ou peut on trouver les 2 supports en entrepointe bleues pour la finition des sphères ?
Merci et continue travail vraiment très beau.
That's very cool, I've always wondered how that could be done in a personal shop rather than a production facility.
I am curious, though. As much as I love watching someone turn things on lathes (it's very satisfying), I wonder about the waste. Turning pure wood, the waste can be burned, or it would naturally biodegrade, but less so with resin waste. How do you dispose of that afterward?
Nice tutorial. Quick question them cups that you used. What's the name of that piece of equipment called?
Where do you buy the ball cups for the lathe? I built my own out of wood because I didnt think anyone made them.
Is it possible to use the cups and the vermec jig in combination rather than doing one end and then the other?
what are the cups called that you use called in the uk and cand fin any decent or to expensive for 1 use
♥️♥️♥️
is the resin you use food safe? Have you ever made cups or anything like that? some of your work seems like it would make amazing coffee or wine glasses
Has Ben ever done on a cone shaped piece? :-)
❤❤❤
Question: About how big is your work space? I am looking to either build or buy myself a work shed and not sure how big or small I should go, and figured I would start getting reference measurements.
I have a single garage
@@BensWorx oh okay... I have a single car carport. I will measure that. Thanks!
@@BensWorxyou get a lot done in such a small space. I wouldn't have guessed it was a one car garage.
Ben, you sound a bit congested or tired? Hard to tell😢 Hope all is well with you and your family, Mate 😊
Thanks Kat, yeah feeling a bit run down but we are doing ok 👍
