I was diagnosed with tinea capitis and tinea barbae. Rash formed on my chin then along my hairline and on my scalp. Yeast infection formed beneath my breasts, scars all over my torso. I was diagnosed almost 2 months ago and did a month long course of Lamisil. Symptoms started to subside 2 weeks ago, but now it seems to be resurfacing. I'm at my wit's end.

Very interesting. I'm not a doctor - but I've always had a mild curiosity for the visuals of microscopic organisms - be they bacteria, fungus or otherwise. Thanks.

After my internal medicine internship I worked for a short time in a worker's compensation clinic: Salad chefs were often referred to us with Tinea manuus, yet, the deisel mechanics who showed up in our office for hand injury evaluation never had tinea despite much filthier hands. Was oil, grease and deisel fuel anti-fungal? Years later a non-doctor pal told me he'd used WD-40 for years to (cheaply) treat his tinea cruris! So............maybe.........!!!

does WD-40 treats athlete's foot too? im just wondering since its kinda same as ringworm

I'm sending this to my friend. This is exactly what I suspect is going on with a friend. The lesion has grown so huge it cover her entire archilles heel area. Her dr has been prescribing strong cortisone ointments for years and I suggested just to use some over the counter anti fungal cream and expiriment just for a week but she wont. She swears it's something else. Maybe she thinks it's a hygiene thing and is embarrassed. Is it rude to send her this? I don't think she'd watch n listen or when understand though. She's so uncomfortable with it.

Thank you for this informative video. I've been treating a fungal infection on my wrist for a few weeks using clotrimazole and it has improved dramatically. There are still a few tiny inflamed regions that indicate what might be subdermal bastions of infection. I'm not sure how the cream is going to get down to the deepest fungi.

Please continue use it until the it gone , and continue use it for 1 month at least until your skin is completely fine, coz I stopped when I saw it turned good and thn the next time I use the cream, my ringworm already immune to the cream 😢

Now i believe he got ringworm in that office.

Can we use sanitizer over ring worm to clean it up?

      no

    • @brAmbedkarvadheemusalmaan

@@laynestaley1413 i read somewhere that sanitizer can help kill bacteria and fungi in top layer of the ringworm. If this is true then we can apply sanitizer to clean up the ringworm before application of anti fungal ointment.

Dermatosis; Mycosis; Tinea Dermatosis, Tinea Folliculitis/Fungal Folliculitis, Granuloma (Majocchi Variant). This entire Finding is generally characterized as Seborrheic Dermatitis and/or Autoimmunity Disease while their is an obvious chronic and curable Disease Process (Infiltration Disease due to Fungus); 1) Spongiosis, 2) Hypergranulosis 3) Suppurative Infiltration and 4) visualization of the pathogen. It is wholly as incorrect to characterize a fungal infection as Seborrheic Dermatitis just as HiV with the latter. MD Gardner, Good Job. This dire and sinister malfeasance should not be an option but a tort.

Dermatosis; Mycosis; Tinea Dermatophytosis, Tinea Folliculitis/Fungal Folliculitis, Majocchi Granuloma would be a fair appraisal of the whole Pathology (Spongiosis, Hypergranulosis and Infiiltraton [Chronicity Finding} and Pathogen Visualization) of this Case ideally. Often this entire spectrum of Pathology is simply erroneously characterized as Seborrheic Dermatitis and/or Autoimmunity Inflammatory Disease (Psoriasis) if not entirely dismissed. Just as it is incorrect to automatically align with HIV infection Diagnosis because of a Seborrheic Dermatitis estimation (Chronic Inflammation of the Dermis), it is a dire and sinister malfeasance to do this trial test in a flagrant curable and obvious Finding even on a Clinical basis. I have done this, however: 1) it was to myself, 2) had no Laboratory of Staining, ) 3) no Microscopy and 4) no formal training (Dermatology). Demand Better! Good Job MD Gardner, Tinea Incognito should no be a possibility but a tort.
