Thanks for posting the video with the explanation it was quite useful. However I would say the people in the video looked like a random strangers pulled from the sidewalk/street and paid $10 to point aimlessly in various different directions; whilst trying to look mildly interested in what the other person was pretending to say. The fact the other person appeared to have no clue why they were there or what they were doing did not seem to matter (a bit like the early morning shopping channel adverts) which is a fair reflection on modern life.
Nonfunctional requirements: 1. usability- easy to interact with 2. performance- how a product reacts to a users' actions (speed of reaction) 3. regulatory- compliance with industry standards and regulations Functional requirements: 1. Interface- user friendly 2. any function the system does: user authentication, send email, add item, remove item

3:07 A how to do it doc is not a specification document ? The video says it is a non functional requirement doc .Generally a 'what to do' document is a requirement doc and 'how to do' document is a specification doc.
Sorry guys, functional requirements shouldn't include the tools/frameworks/technology used to implement the solution (in other words, the "how"). They should only be describing the "what".

Can we say Functional is the Answer of WHATs whereas the Non-Functional is the answer of HOWs? What if the majority of the requirements are Functional?
