Backpacking to Sawtooth Lake in Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains || Stanley Idaho || Hiking Idaho Lakes

- This backpacking trip to Sawtooth Lake has been something we’ve be wanting to do for sometime. Finally the smoke parted somewhat and we leaped on the opportunity. The temperature at the lake was perfect. The sunrise was spectator especially in the fall. This gorgeous alpine lake is located in Stanley Idaho in the Sawtooth National Forest.
We are Beata and Clint. We are a husband and wife that have embarked on a mission to capture the beauty of this little planet and to share it with you in hopes of inspiring you to get out in nature as we were inspired by others.
We enjoy day hiking, night hiking, backpacking, mountain biking day or night riding, rock hounding, skiing, snowshoeing and photography.
Our main passion is hiking and backpacking.

Yes, Sawtooth Lake is definitely one of our favorites also, especially how large it is for an alpine lake.

Nice video. I used to backpack in Sawtooths when I was younger. Now I live over in Teton Valley and do a lot over this way. Also try to do some in the Pioneer mountains next to the Sawtooths.

Really liked your video. Nice work. My only thought at the end is why watch a movie on the Phone when you have a beautiful movie outside the tent?

Is there any fish in the lake's?
We’ve heard that there’s trout in Sawtooth Lake, but are unsure. We have however, seen people fishing at Alpine Lake, just below Sawtooth Lake.
