Definitely a v8 and chopp the roof. Can you maybe do something like using a crashed mustang GT and take the body off like you did with the 1940 custom build? Great video! Trailer brakes disengage thats the best line!!
You like that feature eh! :D Voice activated braking ....Using a GT might be the fastest solution in getting this '51 back on the road considering what we are starting with. Good idea! N.
I like them with the frame tucked up in the rockers and a subtle chop. Maybe slightly canted B pillars. Definitely a V8 and modern suspension. My 2 cents!
Those look great stock or chopped top. I've seen the rear body line to tail light removed. I want to do a old school custom with different head area reshaped, different tail light shape...
I've seen guys shave the rear tail lights and use vertical style lights instead. Might be an option as that tail light feature looks a bit short along the side. N.
'A tasteful amount' is what we like! Extreme turns heads but we like to have people think the car came that way from the factory. Just like people who can tell the difference between costume jewelry and the real deal. Thanks MrAw.
I say a full old school custom with modern parts that look old school ;p like a LS that looks like a 350 and Servo gauge clusters with vintage looking faces
Hey Grub! A sleeper sounds interesting. I'm partial to the old school/vintage appearance myself. Dunno if we should keep the patina and we might offend the Ford enthusiasts if we throw an LS at this build ;) . N.
I love that trailer. Makes loading a cinch!
We put that together a few years ago. It gets a lot of use! Thanks for watching. N.
Cant Wait to follow the progress. Let my 50 shoebox go.
This is going to be a really fun build!!
Amazing how this car has been transformed! Love it!
Still a ways to go!
I would be scared to take that on, but you are the man!!👍🏼
I really appreciate you confidence James! It's a lot like eating an elephant. N.
Resto-mod. Very cool!
Might be the way to go Lonnie. We shall see. Thanks for watching. N.
Looking forward to you starting on this one!
You and me both!

Yes it was. Give me a few weeks and we'll bring her back to life!

Hey Bill, Thanks for the thoughts. I do like the idea of a subtle chop. We shall see! N.
Very popular in Australia too, they were called single, and twin spinners because of the grilles.
Cool! N.
Great stance already, love tail feathers or maybe gasser style. What ever I,m sure you will make it great.
Thanks You!!

I had a 1950 Club Coupe I was 11 when we got it .I have no idea where it is today.
Thank you for sharing. I'm sure you have a lot of great memories in that car!
Thats going to be a little but of work!
Just a little! lol :D N.
My 2 cents worth , 2" section and a 2" chop , not to much just a tasteful amount !

This would look awesome👌 I would do the back end of the chop at 3 so there's a gentle slope. Just my 2 cents 👍
I’d love to see a full custom old school look but not buying original rare parts. Something that you could buy repo or modify more obtainable parts
Great ideas! This is gonna be fun! Cheers! N.

No chop!
Sorry tail draggers
👍
Put it on a mustang
Great idea Marcus!
For God's sake, don't do a gasser. They were damn ugly new.
Hey Lonnie, Thanks for the great thoughts. N.
