    I have my new setup now and I'm impressed how well it works. I can put everything to High and 8x and I have 80FPS on standard scenery. (I7 7700K GTX 970 (Not changed) 32gb 3000mhz Samsung 960 Evo 1000gb) thanks for the Tipps you gave me!

      It has the potential to be the best GA for 2017 IMHO.

    This Tri-Pacer brings back memories I was going to buy one knowing this beautiful pane was for sale The guy who owned it took me up for a test ride I was impressed after flying it for a while it was time to land This aircraft was the most perfect aircraft I had ever flown It was tight what I ment by that by that was it flew like a kid glove WOW As we landed of course the main question was "how much " ? there was no complaining about he told me how much Well I didn't carry that much in my wallet I didn't carry my check book with me so I said let go to my bank cause I had the cash in my bank I told him I will be right back So I went to my bank and got the cash an came back and he went and sold the Tri Pacer to some one else So watching this video brought back memories GREAT video

    Great review as all ways. I think it looks better in xplane than P3D. Big thumbs. Have a great weekend.

      Well that is awesome, enjoy them now, they grow up so fast. My children are in their 30's and it feels like yesterday that I held them in my arms as babies. Now I have 3 grand children and they to are growing up in front of my eyes as well! Life goes so fast Just ENJOY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    agree on the start and stop, they don't start and stop like a sports car. flew these for years. Sounds in general are not quite right, but hey its a sim. A note on your approach long shallow approaches are not desired, they put you in a situation where wind shear an turbulence can give you issues. Just not safe, (but a lot of modern instructors teach shallow airliner approaches),Also the normal cross wind final descent speed is 80 in these planes, hold 80 over the threshhold flair, touch down as all flying speed is lost. Don't fly them onto the ground. short field landings of course will have a different protocol.

    Nice to check out this aircraft. Though when performing a power off stall, you should always try to minimize altitude loss as much as possible- ie.. transition to slow flight/landing configuration first, establish a gentle descent, then execute the stall by bringing and holding the nose up 10-15 degrees (flying at a higher AOA). Recovery should be done with as little altitude loss and heading deviation as possible. Then as you recover with full throttle, "clean up" the airplane (remove flaps, carb heat, speed and nose back up after drop) to return to predetermined altitude/cruise flight.

    Hello Osamah! I've decided to switch to X-Plane 11 as a result of your videos. I would just like to ask, is it necessary to get a joystick and rudder pedals, or can you play with mouse and keyboard like in FSX?

    • @Q8Pilot
      @Q8Pilot  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use the keyboard, but I recommend against it. To enjoy X-Plane to the fullest, I highly recommend a joystick and rudder pedals. Some aircraft require the rudder pedals as controlling them with the keyboard would be extremely difficult.

    • @ft5918
      @ft5918 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definetly buy a joystick, but you don't need dedicated rudder pedals. Use the "twist" axis on the joystick. You can get a hotas for quite cheap - take a look at the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X, or the Logitech Xtreme 3D Pro (but I don't recommend Logitech - they tend to break.)

    Nice review as always! :D But the feature where the engine drops by 100rpm under the magneto test has always been there AFAIK (it's there in old Carenado planes as well). In fact I'm pretty sure it's hardcoded into X-Plane's default engine model since the default aircraft have it too ;)
    BTW I'd love to see a vFlyteair PA30 review as well, thanks for all your reviews so far!

    Hi Q8pilot great review! I have this plane and i really like it but have a doubt...can some pilot tell me if in real this aircraft can climb like they do in xplane almost vs/+1300 witouth problem? Its like that in the real life? i always have that doubt! I really preciate it your review q8pilot greetings for you!!

    Very nice presentation, as usual.
    It is true that the sound is not very similar to the real aircraft.
    Just search on TH-cam for videos like this: th-cam.com/video/qZoLvV_dp9w/w-d-xo.html, and you realize that the sound is not at all the same.
    The engine stop is also different from reality.
    Thank you for sharing.
    Good flights.

    Typical xplane aircraft, all fur coat with no knickers.

      I am normally less harsh, but I would say that's an accurate description =)

    • @TheSkipjack95

      Typical Alabeo/Carenado more like. I have heard rumours that they purposely don't model to the highest fidelity to keep the fidelity levels on par with FSX/P3D.

      You're clearly not buying the right planes.

    • @DEeMONsworld
      @DEeMONsworld 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      All X plane planes fly similarly, well not exactly the same, but, If I can fly an sr71, boeing 737, and tri Pacer, I know it's not accurate. these sims are designed to make it easy to fly, or they could not sell one copy. There are exceptions of course, and I am generalizing a bit to make a point. Sims are not real life. but they give use a reasonable sensation of flying without the true to life parameters. Having designed aircraft for X plane, I know the limitations of aerodynamic manipulations. Basically if you design an aircraft in X plane that looks like an aircraft it will fly.

      @@DEeMONsworld I am a real pilot and harder to fly or use doesn't necessarily mean more realistic.many designs were designed toward positive predictable flight dynamics. even if they are sometimes very stable or even very short coupled they are often designed with very predictable flight dynamics. Happy sky's my friend

      It's actually a four place, comparable to a 172, cheaper and more useful. Maybe you're mistakenly thinking of the Colt?
