Its a wood fired sauna. They are the best because they get way hotter. You control the heat by how much water you throw on. Its a movie. Dumb as heck

He did he assumed they left to go to the party without him and he must have taught one of them had a ticket and calling them he must have thought they didnt hear there phones ringing in all it was just extremely bad luck that things turned out that way
That's why I don't drink, I don't trust myself when I'm sober let alone when I'm intoxicated with how life can mess up with you more when you are not in control.

@@KIWI-un8fs and besides, if one has never been drunk before, it's reasonable to assume that one doesn't know what will happen if they do get intoxicated, so his reasoning is perfectly valid. Although, I will state that when it comes to liquor, just like any other thing, moderation and self control is definitely key.
Hold a hot rock by the thermostat to trick the system into thinking the room is hotter than it is and the temp goes down...

Maybe I just don't understand anything about saunas, but why would you build it with the ability to even reach that high of a degree if it can melt human skin?
That's why there's a thermostat , it detects high temperature and not let it exceeds .but if it fails there's nothing to tell the heater to stop working

@@princeluffy412 you're right I can explain it to you in details if you like . But in short
Thermostat just turns on the boiler or off , seeing the set room temperature. If it's getting high it will stop the boiler and will turn on when it shows room temperature has fallen below the set temperature.
In case of analog thermostat this can only happen when you break the temperature sensor ( cause only that's inside the Sauna room else circuit I outside)
Before time of breaking , if the thermostat think room is already hot enough it will not gonna do anything.
But if you Break the sensor , while room is heating up the thermostat have no way of knowing the room has reached set temperature and will not shut down the boiler causing the temperature to reach very high.
See kids next time if your sauna has no thermostat in it and made truly by your uncle then you will be better off in the sahara desert
MacGyver would figure out a way to escape that miniature hell.

Ive been in a 247f/ 120c sauna. Me and my friend had an competition as a kid, about who could stay in longer. It was an draw, both run out after 15minutes.😂 It's just too much. 80c/176f is an optimal temperature for sauna👌 gently warm the stove, or "kiuas". Preferably one heated with wood. Keep an door or window slightly open when warming the sauna, this way air inside won't become too dry. If the stones in "kiuas" are bad, one might want to throw water already in the heating phase. This way the initial "löyly", (steam that comes when you throw water in the rocks) will become gentle.
And for the end of this real Finnish sauna lesson, i would like to add that this movie is terrible.😅
Five-time sauna champion Timo Kaukonen passed out after 6 minutes at 110C (230F). He was treated with burns to his lungs. His competitor Vladimir Ladyzhensky died.
So congratulations, if you can last 15 minutes as a small kid you're literally superhuman.
@@shawnlinnell7547 I can't recall memories so far. It was probably far less, we didn't throw any Löyly and if i remember right we kept door slightly open.
Anyway i remember it as painfull, but somehow nice memory. We yelled all the time because it hurt, but laughed and tried to fold ourselves as low as possible. But the thermo said 120c, and it was an enough for an 10-13 years old.
The fact that you call it a “finnish sauna lesson”. Its painful but true. Ive always liked saunas (planning on building one in the spring). But, not near as much as my buddies and extended family. I know way to many people that treats saunas like a religion. But, Its pretty cool to think that saunas are the one old world tradition that most of the people that I know cling to. Not these garbage dry and luke-warm saunas that the most other Americans somehow like. Wood burning saunas that you can really get ripping. We don’t do the willow whipping tho. And I sure as hell don’t dive into frigid water in the middle of winter.

Always prepare for water that doesn't have a conductive metal for the bottle, get a plastic BPA-free bottle, and a towel. Always check if the sauna has an indoor temperature controller.
@@pifre3051 May i ask why? Yes you should drink water especially if you drink alcohol at the same time and be in sauna for excessive periods. But i don't think it's necessary to have the water with you. Of course it's traditional to have an cold beer in sauna, and kids can have an soda or juice box.
I also don't think that temperature controller is needed, just heat the sauna enough for an 80c/176f and make sure you throw enough water to the stove so that the air wont feel too dry. If you feel ill go outside for a little while and if your brave enough jump in snow or go ice swimming!

@@pifre3051 How can you get stuck in Sauna? And my mind went yo traditional summer cabin sauna, which are close to water. My small flat has an sauna, and all i can do is roll in the snow.

Always liked hot tubs much much more, it's all open and temperature between the 90s to 100 degrees fahrenheit is much more pleasant than enclosed dry heat that's extremely hot

Seems like there was room for someone to stick their arm through the glass window in the door and either grab the ladder, or the broom that was leaning against the wall nearby and use that as leverage to lift the ladder out of the way.
the window was about 4 feet up on the door and the ladder was at the bottom maybe a foot up also to get the right angle and use all ur arm length ud have to shove ur shoulder into the window and probably dislocate it then just maybe if u have freakish long arms just maybe u can get it hooking it with the rock and towel would have been easier and possibble but they gave up to fast
@@couriersix8294 But the broom was standing up to the left, and that seemed to be about 3 feet up. Surely that should have been feasible. If the alternative is slowly cooking to death, then injury to my arm would be easily worth it to get out.

@@julianh1705 I figure that if they can see the ladder, and also know how long the rope with the rock in it has to be to line up a swing at the thermostat, then they should also be able to see the broom on the other side
should have just kept knocking the latter with the rock until it moved. If one rock wasnt enough then use multiple rocks.
