Araki probably hadn't planned so far ahead at the time but it's kind of a shame that he didn't save Echoes for Part 5 since, y'know, Live at Pompeii. It would've been a cool reference.
I love how Echoes is a song about the origins of life, and Koichi's stand is all about that, it starts as a egg, the first form where life developed millions of years ago. Then it looks like a primitive creature, turning into a humanoid form as the final part of its evolution. Also, Echoes is about human communication and empathy, and Echoes is a sound-based stand. Araki you genius.
