At the end, green dolphin street squad is indeed dead, they're exactly like just creating another FF via the disc, the same base but different people to the core because of their experiences and memories. Irene is an utterly different person from jolyne, she grew up with a healthy relationship with her father it seems, formed a healthy relationship with Anasui and never experienced any of the character growth and trauma of part 6, she is not Jolyne, Jolyne is dead. The same applies to everyone else who died in part 6, other than FF who literally never existed. I get where you're coming from but it's a bit too simple to say everyone is just alive at the end, it is a happy ending overall for the first Jojo universe but that doesn't mean you can overlook how dead the entire part 6 cast actually is at the end. The ending is still incredibly sad for the part 6 cast itself.

@@timurtheking he didn't say it's the same jolyne, more that she subconsciously carries on jolyne's legacy and her growth as a character. That doesn't mean she's the same person, it means she's more or less a reincarnation. It's not like she just lost her memories, a lot of Jolyne is still there but Irene does not equal Jolyne and that goes for other characters as well. Also remember that Jotaro had been entirely absent from his daughters life in the main universe, his new version is much closer and given that Jolyne always lived with her mother in the main universe, possibly not even divorced. Stardust crusaders happened when he was 17, he's 40 by stone ocean, a lot happened in his life during that time so just because Stardust crusaders and part 4 probably went down the same doesn't mean all those years afterwards went down the same for him. And besides it isn't really about the degree of difference, an alternative version of yourself that's only difference is liking eggs more still isn't you, a slightly different alternative Jotaro still wouldn't be the Jotaro we know.

aint it kinda ironic that Pucci said to Jotaro that what makes him strong and weak is the Joestar bloodline but yet Pucci's death was caused by Weather Report's ability which is basically his brother's stand and his own bloodline
I remember thinking "Well this looks bad, but they will win, right? They're the Joestars, right?" all through the fight. Man, the ending if Stone Ocean really hit where it hurt and it hit hard
I think that was the point in the end, that Joestar connection was their downfall and there was no way for any of them to win, only someone outside of it (like Emporio) could. Jolyne's actions were decisive, by combining that lucky strike on Pucci's eye, the stand disc she gave Emporio and by tying him to the dolphin she could overcome the insanely hard limit that was Pucci's new stand. I'd say her way to "win" was the most impresive from all the mcs of the series till now.

Still waiting for d productions... Fire Force is also pretty good, so I guess there's no choice then to enjoy d productions current shows and wait for stone ocean. If they animate it successfully, I am sure all the hate stone ocean got will be justified by awesome animation.
DP has shown the capability to take some very small creative liberties but god what I wouldn’t give for them to change it so that Giorno arrives, throws Jolyne the arrow, and gives her the ability to alter the strings of fate, getting the entire world to safety in a parallel universe while also allowing Pucci to go through with Part 6’s ending in the original

Otherwise they wouldn’t do things like interrupt the OPs or make Giorno do Dio’s pose. So maybe, just maybe, they’ll change things to make an ending that fans would love

i actually always thought those lyrics applied to Pucci. He believes his “role in history” was to save everyone and create the perfect world with Heaven. The misery he has to take in is all of the people who had to die for him to get there, but he was giving it all his soul anyway for the good of humanity in his mind.
The best part about this is the team’s reaction and you can tell how scared shitless they are yet Anasui and Jotaro are still trying to keep the team calm even though they are terrified as well like when they land in the water and everyone started scrambling looking to see where pucci strikes again and Anasui had to yell for everyone to huddle back together stuff like that just honestly makes me more terrified of the situation

I really admire how made in heaven looks angelic but weird at the same time, its a nod at how mortals can't fully understand angels. Also a nod on how scary the power of heaven is when used in combat.

That was one of the most like jaw dropping holy shit moment's I've ever head from manga. Like I was reading it fast and frantically then hit that frame and just froze. It's an entirely different kind of evil from any other villain in the series.
In case you wanna know how MIH works, here's a crash course. Pucci makes gravity so powerful he's not bending mass. He's bending the whole fabric of space along with it. Space bends with time, so it got pulled along, successfully accelerating time. Of course, because Araki is crazy, he made MIH not affect living beings, but it's still somewhat solid.
This fight is the only one in comic history to really make speed terrifying. The sheer confusion and helplessness that an opponent this fast would cause is so well executed. The fact that in only a few pages, it manages to slit the throat of a previous Jojo, invalidate time stops, and kill the entire cast, and it's entirely believable based solely on speed, is frankly insane.

Pucci has got to be the greatest character in jojo. He believes that he's helping yet kills innocents to get his goal but you can tell that dio manipulates him to think he's doing it for the greater good
He's great and I love him but I gotta give it to Funny Valentine. He clearly is not innocent or "did nothing wrong". His justice is the corpse, which has the power to transfer all unfortune away to the other countries and only gather all luck and beauty towards United States. He is a man with the strongest will and ideal for its own country but has no respect to the lives of the others such as the poor train driver and all the persons killed by the power of the Corpse. Even Araki himself admits that his justice is twisted in his book called Manga in Theory and Practice(荒木飛呂彦の漫画術) An emperor who wants to hold all might of this world, that is what he is to me and what makes him intresting, because that is his absolute justice. In some perspective, this character's ideal actually represents United States itself in the reality in some way, but I think that is not the intention of Araki. His moral gray already makes him an interesting character as is, but an awesome stand, fun design and personality, along with the very idea of The President of The United States wielding a stand, really makes him pop out in the horse race and religious references that Steel Ball Run is based around.
Him and Valentine as well as Kira are the best Jojo antagonists for me. What I love about Pucci too is he's deadset on leading people on what he believes is the "right path" for happiness just like what a priest does. DIO who is essentially the "God" gave him an ultimatum he used as his own. I also love how involved he is in this part and how much he grows as an antagonist. His fight with Weather and Anasui while being blind perfectly captures his character...someone who is truly blind to how evil they are and is willing to sacrifice their all for the sake of attaining what they believe is right. He's also a manipulator that plays God in every situation and fights. An actual catalyst for part 6 hence when he was removed brought this butterfly effect that is the new universe. Hes such an amazing antag like seriously the last arcs with him are insane and it sucks to see him get reduced to a "DIO minion" when he is way way more than that. Hopefully those memes die now.

This is because since Pucci's ceased to exist in the universe and since life had to be altered in someway, he didnt have any effect on lives of Jotaro and Joylene, that's why they were changed in the slightest. Meaning since there was no motive of Joylene being framed and put into jail so that's why minor things like names and stuff changed. Keep in mind, SAME PERSON, SAME SOUL the only thing that changed was Pucci's affect on their life (because he didn't exist after getting killed back in the universe) and some minor changes as a side effect of Pucci's death (as he says it himself in the manga). They don't recall anything other than Emporio

i keep trying to understand the final Arc.... but i just cant comprehend it... is it like: Okay, Time speeds up, The Gang dies, only Emporio lives. Everyone who's still alive was brought to the next universe, all predestined actions were carried out for billions of years, because the time was sped up. It only stopped, 4 months before Made in Heaven.... Pucci stopped the acceleration so that he can defeat Emporio..... So okay, during this time, every person is in Heaven, every person that was alive during the first universe, They were sent back four months, so that means, they know their destiny, basically knowing what will happen in the next 4 months... so like for other people, they noticed the Time speeding up with made in heaven. until, the acceleration stops until they realized they were 4 months in the past with Deja Vu... Soooo back to the Prison, Pucci was fighting Emporio, Emporio defeats Pucci, but Pucci had already started accelerating time, soo everyone is brought to the 3rd universe again, everyone achieved heaven.... The acceleration stops when it was supposed to stop, four months before Made in Heaven, but everything is now different, all predestined action for billions if years were carried out until 4 months before Made in Heaven. But this time it was different, because Pucci is now dead. So Jolyne, aka Irene never went to the Prison so they met in the Rain, Weather never came across Pucci so there's that. Sooo everyone have 4 months of future vision, including Giorno and Josuke... I wonder what they thought of this.... okay did I analyze the situation correctly??????? for anyone confused with the "4 Months" it was the time Between when Jolyne meets Jotaro, and Made in Heaven, for example, the Acceleration stop at let's say June 1 in the Second universe, the universe accelerated again and it's June 1 again on the third universe, but June 1 in the third universe is different because Pucci was dead. fuck im so confused

It was a great moment in the series, its good for a change to have a tragic (or atleast bittersweet) final in manga instead of 'happy ending'. And besides, there were plenty of characters / stands that could do well against made in heaven: d4c/cream could just escape pucci any time or rek him if hes not careful, heaven's door could render pucci useless, king crimson unlike time stopping abilities that are negated by made in heaven - he could prolly erase time and predict future to win, gold experience requiem look like just as strong of a stand too, also dont forget about ultimate kars and 'hey ya' :D.
Well, Pucci is far faster than normal stand user, so you can count out Heavens Door, and Cream as they cannot by just thrown around. I also think that King Crimson couldn't react to how fast Pucci is moving (If Diavolo would activate king crimson when a bullet is shooted at him, the bullet would still go at normal speed). Tho, D4C could just bring harmless Pucci from another universe and just throw it at original Pucci. Ultimate Kars is so OP, that I can't just say anything. Like seriosly. People who say that GER is OP, should watch part 2. Hey Ya is unbeatable, and this a scientific fact. Nothing can stop it.
On a level of those stands fights are all about who activates his ability first. Pucci isnt constantly walking in accelerated time, he need to initiate an attack just like every other stand so if heavens door, cream, king crimson or d4c react first they win because their abilities p much counter made in heaven. But the real question is, imagine ultimate kars would decide to learn a stand for himsef and came up with ...hey ya, who would of beaten that.
One thing I always liked about this fight is that Pucci basically has fate on his side and then accidentally inserts Weather Reports stand disk causing Emporio to gain fate on his side meaning Pucci basically defeated himself
The way I interpreted this fight was that everyone who was brought to the new universe already knew of their fates but the one who was responsible for bringing everyone in this new universe did not, hence, why Pucci didn't knew Emporio was baiting him into punching him since Emporio already knew that Pucci would throw a punch at him. Emporio accepted his fate of getting punch but he also circumvent the way he accepted it by manipulating fate slightly as to not really change it.

@@marckevinjavier1897 I heard it explained as pucci reset the universe to a part where emporio manages to escape from pucci, this time tho pucci pursues him better and since emporio was fated to escape pucci he won the fight. Making it more of pucci dying to arrogance, like how kars only lost because he wanted a poetic final blow in the form of Hamon, pucci lost because he wanted to kill emporio at a time where he failed.
Stone Ocean has the most beautiful endings of all parts, when Jotaro finally decides to really care about his daughter it was everyone's downfall and seeing Hermes and Jotaro being absolutely annihilated gives you the chills aswell as when Stone Free is defeated and you see the infamous glasses fly up into the air
For some reason watching this and hearing the song makes me imagine Pucci riding on the horse of Made in Heaven on the rings of Saturn while crying tears of joy at finally fulfilling DIO's wishes. Powerful stuff, great video.

I get where you're coming from but it's a bit too simple to say everyone is just alive at the end, it is a happy ending overall for the first Jojo universe but that doesn't mean you can overlook how dead the entire part 6 cast actually is at the end. The ending is still incredibly sad for the part 6 cast itself.

That doesn't mean she's the same person, it means she's more or less a reincarnation. It's not like she just lost her memories, a lot of Jolyne is still there but Irene does not equal Jolyne and that goes for other characters as well. Also remember that Jotaro had been entirely absent from his daughters life in the main universe, his new version is much closer and given that Jolyne always lived with her mother in the main universe, possibly not even divorced. Stardust crusaders happened when he was 17, he's 40 by stone ocean, a lot happened in his life during that time so just because Stardust crusaders and part 4 probably went down the same doesn't mean all those years afterwards went down the same for him. And besides it isn't really about the degree of difference, an alternative version of yourself that's only difference is liking eggs more still isn't you, a slightly different alternative Jotaro still wouldn't be the Jotaro we know.

I think that was the point in the end, that Joestar connection was their downfall and there was no way for any of them to win, only someone outside of it (like Emporio) could. Jolyne's actions were decisive, by combining that lucky strike on Pucci's eye, the stand disc she gave Emporio and by tying him to the dolphin she could overcome the insanely hard limit that was Pucci's new stand. I'd say her way to "win" was the most impresive from all the mcs of the series till now.

This fight is the only one in comic history to really make speed terrifying. The sheer confusion and helplessness that an opponent this fast would cause is so well executed. The fact that in only a few pages, it manages to slit the throat of a previous Jojo, invalidate time stops, and kill the entire cast, and it's entirely believable based solely on speed, is frankly insane.

Pucci has got to be the greatest character in jojo. He believes that he's helping yet kills innocents to get his goal but you can tell that dio manipulates him to think he's doing it for the greater good
He's great and I love him but I gotta give it to Funny Valentine. He clearly is not innocent or "did nothing wrong". His justice is the corpse, which has the power to transfer all unfortune away to the other countries and only gather all luck and beauty towards United States. He is a man with the strongest will and ideal for its own country but has no respect to the lives of the others such as the poor train driver and all the persons killed by the power of the Corpse. Even Araki himself admits that his justice is twisted in his book called Manga in Theory and Practice(荒木飛呂彦の漫画術) An emperor who wants to hold all might of this world, that is what he is to me and what makes him intresting, because that is his absolute justice. In some perspective, this character's ideal actually represents United States itself in the reality in some way, but I think that is not the intention of Araki. His moral gray already makes him an interesting character as is, but an awesome stand, fun design and personality, along with the very idea of The President of The United States wielding a stand, really makes him pop out in the horse race and religious references that Steel Ball Run is based around.
Him and Valentine as well as Kira are the best Jojo antagonists for me. What I love about Pucci too is he's deadset on leading people on what he believes is the "right path" for happiness just like what a priest does. DIO who is essentially the "God" gave him an ultimatum he used as his own. I also love how involved he is in this part and how much he grows as an antagonist. His fight with Weather and Anasui while being blind perfectly captures his character...someone who is truly blind to how evil they are and is willing to sacrifice their all for the sake of attaining what they believe is right. He's also a manipulator that plays God in every situation and fights. An actual catalyst for part 6 hence when he was removed brought this butterfly effect that is the new universe. This is because since Pucci's ceased to exist in the universe and since life had to be altered in someway, he didnt have any effect on lives of Jotaro and Joylene, that's why they were changed in the slightest. Meaning since there was no motive of Joylene being framed and put into jail so that's why minor things like names and stuff changed. Keep in mind, SAME PERSON, SAME SOUL the only thing that changed was Pucci's affect on their life (because he didn't exist after getting killed back in the universe) and some minor changes as a side effect of Pucci's death (as he says it himself in the manga). They don't recall anything other than Emporio

Okay, Time speeds up, The Gang dies, only Emporio lives. Everyone who's still alive was brought to the next universe, all predestined actions were carried out for billions of years, because the time was sped up. It only stopped, 4 months before Made in Heaven.... Pucci stopped the acceleration so that he can defeat Emporio.....
So okay, during this time, every person is in Heaven, every person that was alive during the first universe, They were sent back four months, so that means, they know their destiny, basically knowing what will happen in the next 4 months...
so like for other people, they noticed the Time speeding up with made in heaven. until, the acceleration stops until they realized they were 4 months in the past with Deja Vu...
Soooo back to the Prison, Pucci was fighting Emporio, Emporio defeats Pucci, but Pucci had already started accelerating time, soo everyone is brought to the 3rd universe again, everyone achieved heaven.... The acceleration stops when it was supposed to stop, four months before Made in Heaven, but everything is now different, all predestined action for billions if years were carried out until 4 months before Made in Heaven.
But this time it was different, because Pucci is now dead. So Jolyne, aka Irene never went to the Prison so they met in the Rain, Weather never came across Pucci so there's that.
Sooo everyone have 4 months of future vision, including Giorno and Josuke... I wonder what they thought of this....
okay did I analyze the situation correctly??????? for anyone confused with the "4 Months" it was the time Between when Jolyne meets Jotaro, and Made in Heaven, for example, the Acceleration stop at let's say June 1 in the Second universe, the universe accelerated again and it's June 1 again on the third universe, but June 1 in the third universe is different because Pucci was dead.

Well, i hate the power of the stand of pucci, is so OP (i hate Giorno stand too) the part is great, and Jolyne is one of the best jojos, but really, is horrible when a stand is so OP i hate this finale becouse of that
It was a great moment in the series, its good for a change to have a tragic (or atleast bittersweet) final in manga instead of 'happy ending'. And besides, there were plenty of characters / stands that could do well against made in heaven: d4c/cream could just escape pucci any time or rek him if hes not careful, heaven's door could render pucci useless, king crimson unlike time stopping abilities that are negated by made in heaven - he could prolly erase time and predict future to win, gold experience requiem look like just as strong of a stand too, also dont forget about ultimate kars and 'hey ya' :D.
Well, Pucci is far faster than normal stand user, so you can count out Heavens Door, and Cream as they cannot by just thrown around. I also think that King Crimson couldn't react to how fast Pucci is moving (If Diavolo would activate king crimson when a bullet is shooted at him, the bullet would still go at normal speed).
Tho, D4C could just bring harmless Pucci from another universe and just throw it at original Pucci.

On a level of those stands fights are all about who activates his ability first. Pucci isnt constantly walking in accelerated time, he need to initiate an attack just like every other stand so if heavens door, cream, king crimson or d4c react first they win because their abilities p much counter made in heaven. But the real question is, imagine ultimate kars would decide to learn a stand for himsef and came up with ...hey ya, who would of beaten that.

One thing I always liked about this fight is that Pucci basically has fate on his side and then accidentally inserts Weather Reports stand disk causing Emporio to gain fate on his side meaning Pucci basically defeated himself
Fate switching sides has always been how the JoJo villains died since part 3.

The way I interpreted this fight was that everyone who was brought to the new universe already knew of their fates but the one who was responsible for bringing everyone in this new universe did not, hence, why Pucci didn't knew Emporio was baiting him into punching him since Emporio already knew that Pucci would throw a punch at him. Emporio accepted his fate of getting punch but he also circumvent the way he accepted it by manipulating fate slightly as to not really change it.

Making it more of pucci dying to arrogance, like how kars only lost because he wanted a poetic final blow in the form of Hamon, pucci lost because he wanted to kill emporio at a time where he failed.

Stone Ocean has the most beautiful endings of all parts, when Jotaro finally decides to really care about his daughter it was everyone's downfall and seeing Hermes and Jotaro being absolutely annihilated gives you the chills aswell as when Stone Free is defeated and you see the infamous glasses fly up into the air
Jotaro always cared about her. he just didn't act on fatherly instincts until they all died for a minute.
For some reason watching this and hearing the song makes me imagine Pucci riding on the horse of Made in Heaven on the rings of Saturn while crying tears of joy at finally fulfilling DIO's wishes. Powerful stuff, great video.
