I loved this show as a kid.
The woman are so feminine, the 80's 90's so sweet, men clean shaven, kind, caring, real gentlemen. Growing up back then was so much fun everyone got along, people could take a joke and people were not serious it was simple. You didn't need a lot of money to have a good time. Technology has destroyed us socially. Feels like a different world. People are so aggressive nowadays, what has happened to people.
She must've had her gnashers done later on in her career.

Have you noticed how modestly dressed they all are and generally well spoken ? And not a tattoo in sight.
Can you imagine if it was aired today ? The absolute creatures you'd see ?
No. Just no. Now? Er . . . now? Like, right now? The people . . . now? The freaks now?
Yeah I'm sick of seeing people with tattoos, more so women who are attractive looking. The tattoos are getting more and more ridiculous, when they get older they are going to look stupid with all those tattoos all over their arms, legs and back and shoulders.
In another universe this would've been a Thames show hosted by Des O'Connor, but they passed on it

loved this as a kid of the 80s, cringe now 🤫😋
Cilla's accent was more pronounced in the earlier shows and the responses and audience reactions were much more natural sounding.
I did miss the "woooo" after each person is introduced though 😄
The 'Wooooo's' are silly because the audience are clearly prompted.

This was a show which really outstayed its welcome in the long term.
According to who? I loved it, my family and friends loved it. Good, wholesome entertainment - we could do with more of.
Better than the rubbish they have on the tv nowadays I’d say 📺
God it’s even more boring, awkward, drawn out and annoying than I remember it! 😂 But Cilla’s quite lovable, RIP
