We are going to do a project using Arduino Uno, PIR Sensor, LED and Piezo Buzzer. In this project when the PIR sensor detects a motion, LED will be lit and also the buzzer will make the sound.
We will go through the step by step process on connecting the circuit and writing the code.

Hi! Amazing video. Thank you for giving a really in depth explanation on each part. I would love to know, why do we need the resistor to connect to the ground? What if we just connect the LED and Buzzer's positive terminal directly to the ground?
You need to control the current flow. If led and buzzer can accommodate the current flow you can connect directly.

Hello, i just watched the video its so helpful for me because i ca use this to program my project, but may i ask, is it okay to use ultrasonic sensor rather than RIP sensor? And any kind of buzzer will do right?
Yes you can use ultrasonic sensor however you will have to change the code. Ultrasonic is usually used to calculate the distance as well.

Hello again! I followed the demo, and the pir sensor is detecting, but the buzzer and led are not lighting up and sounding off. Any idea what happened? DId i not connect the wires correctly?

Sir it work but I want it to stop faster. I mean after detected the hand it is working for 2 minutes. I want it to work for 5 second and the stop.

I did everything you did including the correct code but my buzzer and led lights turn on even though I don’t move my sensor, any idea how to fix it and only make the led and the buzzer ring when the sensor is moved?

@Vajresh Kundurthi You can define the pins by default as Low in Void Setup, or also check if the PIR Signal pin is connected properly. it should not be getting High value always which will case this issue.
@@Thetips4you how would you do that? And what code should I write for that? Because I have the same issue
@@jort.thijssen3314 In the Void Setup , add Digital Write to Low for the pins which are connected to LED and Buzzer, PIR sensor. Also please double check your PIR sensor Pins connected. if you connect 5 V to signal pin it will always give high output.
