@@angiebirdwell7069 I remember , there was even a dress pattern produced by the following day . I recollect my mum saying Look how creased it is ! when she stepped out of the carriage . It was truly totally over the top .
@@beverleyevans3262 I hated it when I watched the BBC feed live on PBS here in the US as I was getting ready for work, and I still hate it today. It's symbolic of her whole marriage. The gown swallowed her whole, and looked more as though it was chosen by someone else and inflicted on her.
Even though I didn't like the dress the first bride chose, it goes to show you can HATE a dress on the hanger, but love it on! It annoys me when dress after dress is rejected because they don't like it on the hanger. The look on the hanger means nothing!
I don’t like David’s pick, it was nothing like what she said. It wasn’t high neck it was an illusion neck and those were NOT cap sleeves. The dress was in no way vintage style. I’m glad she was happy but i don’t know why everyone’s blowing sunshine up David’s a**. Princess Diana’s dress was god awful!
It was more vintage than the other dresses they have at the store. Remember she didn't know what she wanted, and they had to guess. She did not say cap sleeves or any other specifics. So they pulled dresses to see what direction to go in.
I agree. I feel like she'd be a bride that should have gone the color route tbh. She also needs a slightly lower waist line on the dress because they all look too high to me. She seems like she's got better curves than these dresses show
Look at his wink when he asked her if she’s ready to face them. That’s soooo kind
Thank you, Mother of the Bride and ladies of the family for intervening at 5:17 onward.
Kinda silly she doesn't tell them what kind of neckline and sleeves she had in mind until they're several dresses in.
If I was going to David’s shop, I would allow him to style me. For Heaven’s sake, he designed Diana’s dress!
Hmm , that was 1981 and it was outrageously huge even then !!!
@@beverleyevans3262and it was copied thousands of times within minutes of her stepping out of the carriage.

David picked the right dress🥰
Well done David. Wow under budget. I'm amazed.
David does it again.
The lady with the platinum hair and evante garde haircut looks FAB!!
Never judge a dress on the hanger!
Second bride's dress is so gorgeous 😍
Drop waisted gowns don’t suit her imo

She needs an Aline with illusion top
She said she didn't want sweetheart neckline and wanted cap sleeves and they give her spaghetti straps and sweetheart!!
Loool was I the only one who was hoping his name was bob 😂😂 sorry she’s lovely though 💖💖
Beautiful! David is a star after all he did dress royalty
And that's why David is still revered long way away from 1981.

She 1st bride immediately covered her neck in her hair even tho it was high neck. She has something agaisnst her upper neck, shoulders.
Her figure needs to be A-line NOT fishtail!
Luckily, you're not the boss of her. She was happy with the dress. I think that counts more than your, very narrow, opinion.
I don't think she looked good in any of the dresses. The dress was stunning but not on her. The second bride's dress was stunning.
Rude. It's not your wedding.
Second bride was so thin she looked like her head was too big for her body ?!🤦🏼♀️😂
None of the dresses they showed were very good, they didnt flatter her body and style.

Its beautiful❤
See how much time you could have saved
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
She doesn't have much shape in her body so that makes her hard to fit.
Picky!! PICKY!!!
She doesn’t like herself. Not too much to work with her.
I find it really rude that he/they don't know who the bride, who booked the appointment, is!!
They know the bride's name, but no idea which of the group is the person with the name.
