Yeah, he covered the nut jobs with a lot of respect, actually. He did it sort of “this is how it can happen.” Even if he had fun with it, like with Terry Davis, he did it in a loving way. Jim mocks a lot of people, but the crazies, I think, he did very sympathetically.
Same. Like Jim, I also like to laugh at the insanity on the internet. But feel a lot of sympathy for the people out there who have legitimate mental conditions and psychosis where their behavior is not an "act" but a legitimate issue plaguing their lives. It's great to laugh at weirdos who act out and bring mockery down on themselves like; Donga, Ralph, Kurt Ecchiwald etc... But like you said, Jim seems to take a softer tone when addressing people with actual mental deficiencies. Where it's more he's laughing at what they do vs. laughing at THE person themself.
Randy fucking Stair, man. He doesn't even aim when he's doing target practice, he just points and shoots from a very passive stance. It's clear how he must have approached his whole life that way, just going through the motions and expecting that to be enough
I subscribed to druid focket after seeing metokur's video on her just to see if she'd ever come back, either healed or crazier than ever. Her channel stayed up until sometime this year, then it was gone and she never came back. Sure, Jim mocked her but personally I hope she found the help she needed. Schizophrenia is no joke.
I love his final words for Randy Stair section, powerful stuff. Jim is known for his more comedic stuff but when he needs to deal with tough subjects he's fantastic. I don't get why Jim's detractors always went for him over the Terry A. Davies work. I think Jim did amazing job with that section, and it's disgraceful that some went after Jim saying he's at fault for his death. The Nick Bate section is probably the toughest to get through, and that man shouldn't see freedom as long as he lives. Shoenice one is probably my least liked of the series, just isn't as gripping as the other ones. The guys just like Baked Alaska just a fame hungry fraud. Game Dude and Eichenwald ones are enjoyable. Druid Focket one is fine, I think the most shocking was seen her drop so much weight. Her TH-cam Channel is still up. I think Stair, Bate and Davies sections are some of Jim's best work he's ever done.
Guess Momma K didn't make the cut. My gf like 18 years ago knew her from like energy healing lessons or other 'magic' stuff, so I saw it on the other end as "they're trying to take my friend's kid away because she's vegan!"
