I still dont understand how the betrayal video was such a liability. Like its really cringy and dumb, but how that is a pr disaster? The rape joke sounds like more of a liability and even that is dumb.
Because a dumb joke you make on Twitter can be overlooked. Being a moron out in public in front of everyone at GDC is much harder to ignore.
Nearly everyone on TGWTG were spergs, including Lordkat. Dude has an inflated ego, thinks he’s a hotshot games journalist, and had to blame Spoony because Lordkat is forgettable.
For example with the Notch interview being cancelled, Notch was a busy guy doing big appearances like The Late Late Show at the time and Mojang PR probably used Spoony at E3 as an excuse to cancel.

Talking shit about a game is bad enough to the corpos, but screaming and making an ass of yourself in public at a major convention in any sphere will immediately get you black listed.

Oddly enough, the two most insufferable of them ended up being Joe and Lindsay.

This series was so great. I never liked these bums, almost everyone of them are annoying. Its still amazing how Channel Awesome imploded even though it wasnt hard to imagine at the time.
