স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগের পক্ষ থেকে প্রকাশিত National guideline on diabetes mellitus-এর সর্বশেষ আপডেট প্রকাশনার আলোকে ডায়াবেটিসের screening Test কোন কোন বয়সে উপসর্গ না থাকলেও করতে হবে, Type-1 and Type-2 Diabetes mellitus-এর লক্ষণ (Symptoms), জটিলতা (Complications of Diabetes) এবং ডায়াবেটিস সনাক্তকরণে কী কী পদক্ষেপ নিতে হবে এই বিষয়গুলো নিয়ে এটি একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত আলোচনা।

In this Video, you will learn some misconceptions about this very common Non Communicable Disease, Diabetes Mellitus. It is totally for the general people as a health tip to grow public awareness on diabetes, and also for the young generation who are interested on medical education related videos. As you can see, I always upload videos related to medical science and health education, this video is going to be placed on the same niche. Juvenile diabetes cases are alarmingly increased in the recent years, specially Type-2 diabetes is taking upper hand day by day, because of the changes in the lifestyle and eating habit in the modern era. Long time use of mobile, laptop, social media, young people are getting lazy and this causes increase of Obesity cases, which is affecting their health, results in Diabetes. Besides, shortage of playgrounds in the urban areas make them unable to go for physical exercise and outdoor games. All these make a huge increase in the trend of diabetes epidemiology. Taking all these into account, our Health department took few initiative to control diabetes as well as other NCD (non communicable diseases. In recent year, Ministry of Health and family welfare published a detail guideline named "National Guideline on Diabetes Mellitus", where they sorted out a checklist for screening tests to perform, so that all the people including young and children can get checked for their diabetic status. This video touched those screening test guidelines elaborately to make people aware, so that this issue may no longer be ignored.
