Nah you can notice the movements of LaBrie and the pressure that it looks like he gives his voice. LaBrie wasnt re-recorded, I also know a friend who saw it live. LaBrie sounds amazing here too dunno why people are getting worked up. He's recovered

It sounds to me like Petrucci was just doing everything he could to avoid copying his solo from Budokan which was so badass and well done that it sounded very much like it was written and not improvised(that could very well be the case). Still a great version of the song though

LaBrie sang amazing in Budapest on 1st July. Literally, his voice was perfect. I don't feel, that he is the weakpoint of DT. He is a great singer, and we know, he had accident in 1994. Watch the Awake tour in Japan 1995. James's voice is much much better now ...

I've seen and heard LaBrie live in Mexico on the Prog Nation last year, his voice was cool, he did great on all the songs, especially on Forsaken and pretty much the rest of the songs. If I haven't heard LaBrie's voice on Forsaken live, I wouldn't have bought the SC.
Why critique James LaBrie so much? I think his voice is beautiful for a band that has so much diversity in its style and sound. He might have a few hitches here and there, but afterall, he's human too. While instruments can be maintained or tuned similiarly everytime, or be replaced with a new one, a human's voice can't. Just cut him some slack, and enjoy the awesome performance as a whole :)
