Now I know that I said I would even watch you working on a lawnmower, but I was being silly. I didn't think you would actually put up a video of you working on your lawn mower. You didn't even touch the engine. Of course I get all I need of that from the CarsandCameras TH-cam channel.
It took me a while to figure out that you were milling the bolt to be a new sleeve for the rethreading because the original threading was wrong, but the hole diameter was the same. I didn't get it until you chopped the end off and flipped it around.🤨💡 OH, I see what he did there.🙄 You were talking about a sleeve so I thought you were drilling it out to put a sleeve in it, but you were drilling out the bolt to make a sleeve. I was confused for a moment.😕
Glad to see it all worked out. I have had similar issues with plastic ends on hydraulic arms. The dang lift s on my old hatchback were always popping off. I swear they make those cheap ends just so they can keep selling them to you as they crack and fall off..
Hmm... Resistance isn't futile huh... And you whistle the Empire March from Star Wars. 20:41 Don't think I missed that!
    Until next time.

Nice!!! I need to check the hydrostats in the JD. It's chunked the belt a couple of times. Mainly when going over a bump. I had to slow down on cornering when I put the "Tractor Style Lug" tires on, or I'll scalp the lawn. But occasionally we get enough rain that they help prevent getting stuck so it's a tradeoff. RAWK!!!

I use stens belts, cost more but they do hold up better or Napa belts are great also 😊

I would think that as much as those zero turns go for, Hustler would invest in better fasteners 🙄

The problem is the frame bolts together and constantly moves while mowing causing the powder coat to wear down under the head of bolts and loosen they have a updated bracket kit for hydro mounts it helps but still have to constantly retork the mounting bolts the new ones have welded frames and no longer have this problem 😂

The hydro brackets are too flimsy. They bend and/or break allowing the tires to tilt in at the top and put slack in the drive belt. This can cause the fan blades to contact the frame or cut the belt. To compound the problem, the frame is a C channel design that is always flexing and moving around. They have an updated trans bracket kit that is much thicker and sturdier but of course it’s going to cost you.$100. I would fix it and get rid of it.
