Lots of people have very straight ridiculously white teeth that look just like a cheap set of dentures. I judge you on your content, your knowledge, your humour and your beliefs, although I am not personally religious. I feel that the most judgmental are also the most insecure. I think it is never too late to start picking up watch. I myself have only started being interested in watch a couple years ago at 26 y/o. One of my regrets is that i was given a seiko watch by my godfather about a decade earlier and back then i was not that interested in watch and now it is either stolen or missing somewhere inside my house. Hope i can find it one day.
Love the channel and what you do. Admire your sincerity and personal mission in life. The channel has become the go to for me and have bought a number of Seiko’s on the basis of your reviews. The Seiko 1959 Alpinist being the latest. Happy New Year all the best to you and your family.

Congrats on the channel growth. I'm fine with you telling us about your mission work & I am not religious. A bit of back story is always interesting. My wish for your channel is that you keep on looking at affordable watches. Most review channels that grow tend to end up looking at more expensive stuff, either because they get given it (which is starting to apply to you) or they just make enough money that they can afford more expensive stuff.
Congratulations on the inevitable 100K! I served in Asia for many years and know how difficult it is to preach in a foreign language (I used a similar process as you and my wife had to check my translated sermon manuscripts as well haha), so praise God for your hard work and His enabling you to do so! Great video, long time watcher but first time subscriber (I thought I had subscribed but obviously hadn't) onwards and upwards to 100k. Very cool to hear your backstory. I am not religious in any way but really appreciate hearing content creators talk about their personal lives. I really enjoy your channel and it is one of the first I look to when considering a purchase. Also, your Japanese is really awesome. Hi Dave. I've been watching your videos for a couple of years and I appreciate your style. You seem like a really nice guy. For some reason I assumed I was subscribed to your channel but I wasn't (I am now!) Congratulations on your milestone.
I think it is never too late to start picking up watch. I myself have only started being interested in watch a couple years ago at 26 y/o. One of my regrets is that i was given a seiko watch by my godfather about a decade earlier and back then i was not that interested in watch and now it is either stolen or missing somewhere inside my house. Hope i can find it one day.

To keep piling on with questions - What strap is on the Alpinist at 1:01? I have the same watch, but want a simple, quality strap rather than the bracelet that came on it.

Congrats on the channel growth. I'm fine with you telling us about your mission work & I am not religious. A bit of back story is always interesting. My wish for your channel is that you keep on looking at affordable watches. Most review channels that grow tend to end up looking at more expensive stuff, either because they get given it (which is starting to apply to you) or they just make enough money that they can afford more expensive stuff.
I just subscribed to help you to get to your next goal.

I served in Asia for many years and know how difficult it is to preach in a foreign language (I used a similar process as you and my wife had to check my translated sermon manuscripts as well haha), so praise God for your hard work and His enabling you to do so!
