- Recorded during World War Two, this is a record pressed to entertain Naval soldiers on deployment. Some lovely playing from Freddy Gardner here.

Delightfully arranged and played with Freddy's contribution a real treat.
Very bright musicality
❤❤❤❤😊
Thanks for uploading this record, Jonathan.
Despite collecting a lot of information on these wartime records, I'd not heard of this particular show before. It just shows how much was issued at this time.
As usual with these sets, there's one side missing from the 15 minute programme. Such is life!
Incidentally, the trombonist should be Ronnie Clitheroe as far as I can tell, though I can't find much out about him.
Very good sound quality from a "military" record!
A lovely record, great to hear Freddy Latham on vocal and while he himself was in the services and so pleased to hear the compere adding to the period feel. Thank you for finding these rare gems
@@simonrobinson3998 ah I think you’ll like my others! They feature Beryl Davis and Dorothy Carless.
What do you know of Reg Pink?
How could this 78 rpm be nearly ten minutes long?
@@jourwalis-8875 it’s a 12” record
