Recorded during World War Two, this is a record pressed to entertain Naval soldiers on deployment. Some lovely playing from Freddy Gardner here.

Thanks for uploading this record, Jonathan.
Despite collecting a lot of information on these wartime records, I'd not heard of this particular show before. It just shows how much was issued at this time.
As usual with these sets, there's one side missing from the 15 minute programme. Such is life!
Incidentally, the trombonist should be Ronnie Clitheroe as far as I can tell, though I can't find much out about him.
