Question for you. Are you just changing your bearings for fun? Most bearings have a minimum of 25,000 miles... but usually much higher ... I really think the surron community just enjoys puting new stuff on / in their bikes ... more often than not any real repairs are likely from people not taking care of their bikes or neglecting it / misusing it. I have 4,000 miles on my surron... never needed to change anything on it . Just proper maintenance.. still have stock everything .. Except the tires but I swapped them out pretty much when I got it. .
At the time of this video I had over 11,000km on the stock bearings and if you ride hard the bearings need replaced sooner. I could feel the play in my rear tire when I rode the bike . Watch the video I show you the tire has side to side play because the bearings are worn out . . No I don't just work on my bike for fun I do maintain it as needed . Cheers
Whats going on with that wheel it looks fancy
It's a sproket adapter from Luna and a 53 tooth sprocket in red from vortex racing .
Do you grease the axle, too?
Yes every time I take it out I give it a wipe and apply some new grease :)
Anyone know where I can buy the inner bearing spacer? Can’t find it anywhere
