The Taco is my favorite. Your son will have an amazing time, what a great opportunity for him. Try not to worry. I love the bird segment at the end. I knew all of the birds you showed today. Your stitchy bug is back!
I loved the stitching but I really really loved to see the snow falling! Gosh it's sooo pretty☃️ so backyard weather reports are my favourite! Plus the birds at the end too - I've never seen any of those birds and I love learning about them.
Thanks Laura! I'm glad you enjoyed the snow! It is quite peaceful, but I'm ready for summer now! Thanks for spending some time with me and my yard and my birds 💕 Happy Stitching!
Hi Christine, I'm so happy that your Stitchy bug is back. I love all of your Mill Hills and want to stitch them all. I've never stitched one but have watched all of your videos and know that you love them. Congratulations on winning your beautiful medal 🏅 and coming in 2nd place on your Fitbit challenges. You inspired me to put on my Fitbit and go for a walk today. I'm on vacation until August so i have no excuse to get active. 🚶♀️
Thank you! I hope you try at least one of the small mill hill kits one day ❤️❤️ Great job dusting off the ole fit bit and going on a walk 👏👏👏👏 Have a fantastic vacation!!
Lilac is my favourite too and always reminds me of where i grew up as we had a big lilac tree out the back of the barn. love all the mill hill kits. and that eagle you are stitching on is just stunning i love it.
I love how you do your blogs, videos ,whatever. It's so enjoyable to see you as you really are, p.j.'s and all.i always want to run to Hobby Lobby and buy all the things. I absolutely love lilacs, my favorite
Thank you Linda! 💕 Oh, I agree about HL! I have to put blinders on when I go into crafts stores.....or maybe I should keep doing curbside pickup to help keep from buying ALL the things! 😂
Watching you from Spain Europe. I really enjoyed your last part about birds. I have never paid very much attention to them but I kind appreciate them more lately. Blue Jays are only endemic of northern América. Your pictures of birds are great.
Thank you for stopping by, and thank you for letting me know that Blue Jays are endemic in Northern America! I keep forgetting to look it up 😊 It strange how birds can be one of those things we see everyday, but it's not until you really start looking at them that their beauty is revealed!
I stitch in hand and love it. Recently discovered that my stitches look better when I complete the x. Love your stitch finish. Great progress on the mandala.
Thank you for the tip! I think I might feel better about doing it now that I've been doing the embroidery on my felt kits. I feel a little more comfortable with controlling my tension 😊
Thank you so much for the wonderful bird section. I live in Sweden so it’s extra interesting to learn about American birds. I really do love birds. I am stitching bullfinches right now. They are my favorite birds here in Sweden.
Your inspiring me to get out and walk! The mill hills you finished are adorable. I can’t wait to see the eagle as you stitch it. I’m sending you calm vibes because I would be a basket case if one of my kids went to Ireland.
I figured I would either inspire or annoy people with all my walking.... 🤣 I've always been a walker, but it has become a bit if an obsession lately. I'll be walking and stitching my stress away while my son is away, for sure 😬
Congrats on the Yellow Stone achievement, that's a really great medal! Thanks for the recommendation of Teenie Weenie Stitches channel, I've just flagged it to watch after you. Love the Mill Hill kits you have, I've yet to venture into Mill Hill, but I love watching others stitch them.
Enjoyed your video as always. Your taco turned out so cute. I’m enjoying the bird flash cards. Very interesting . I Always look forward to your videos .
Thank you! I always think of so much more I want to say after I'm done. Maybe I should plan it out more 🤣 I should've showed all my blue Jay, chickadee and Robin cross stitches to tie it all in!
I liked to see your bird 🐦 cards. Over here in the Netherlands, we do not have blue jays, just regular jays. They also have those bright blue wings, but the body has lighter and darker browns. Because of that colour combination, they are considered to be a link between heaven and earth. 🪡🇳🇱🌷
OMG! The snow! So sorry to see what happened to your trees! My sister is taking a vacation with her family in Utah this week and also experienced snow…and did not pack for that weather! Very unusual! It looks like your lilac may bounce back…..I hope so, anyway. Thanks for the bird flash card lessons. I got an offer from Cornell Ornithology Lab for some courses online that I may be able to get for free with the discount credit they sent. One course helps you learn the birds by their calls and sounds. Another one is gardening for birds which covers two interest in one course! Good job on getting your walking medal. That is gorgeous!
Yeah, that late snow was crazy. Those courses sound like a lot of fun!! Learning bird calls is very helpful. On my walks, I will often hear an unfamiliar bird before I see it. So fun. I downloaded an app to help with bird call ID. Enjoy your classes if you decide to take them!
I always love catching up with you! Cheering you on with your Eagle. I think it will be a great task to keep your mind clear of worry. Your son is going to have a fantastic time, but what a trip for a first flight. I flew from NYC to Paris and thought that was long. It was definitely a good chance for some stitching!
Now that I've been left in the dust by both you and Stitchin mommy finishing your oldest wips, I think I officially have the oldest flosstube wip. But a finish it will be!! 😊😊
Keep the Mill Hills and bird cards coming! But fair warning, when I buy my first food-related Mil Hill I'm blaming you! I am already justifying those on a "kitchen" tree. Glad you are enjoying the stitching. The Eagles will be a wonderful focus piece for this month. And I'm sure your son will have a great adventure studying abroad. He'll be fine. Enjoy the month ahead and your next walking adventure, That medal is impressive!
Omg...a kitchen tree! I think you just might start a new trend with that idea!! Too bad my kitchen is already too over crowded but I may have to make some room!! 🥨🌮🥧🍔🍕🍦
so sorry about your lilacs! enjoyed spying on the neighbors with you 😂 I'm convinced your neighbourhood dogs hear you talking to yourself ("barking") and totally just wanna join in!
ohhh I love your finish on mill hill stitching one. Love the ones you purchased. I ordered the new bluebird one can't wait until it arrives. happy stitching Patty
Good luck with the eagle! I hope the time your son spends in Ireland goes quickly for you! I would be a basket case too. Enjoy your walking and stitching🙂
Thank you!! I don't know where my son gets his adventurous spirit from, since both of his parents are content spending our days in the comfort of our home. I just hope he doesn't love it so much that he decides to move there someday 😭
I'm a lover of Mill Hill too - sorting their floss tho can be challenging - I've always said I'd gladly pay an extra 3-5$ for the kits if they sorted the floss for us
Hi Christine loved your video. I have stitched the Love Stitching ornament and it is hanging in my craft room. I have also stitched the music and gardening one. Your Mill Hill haul was great to see and I now really want to do the bee Buttons and Beads kit! I enjoy your bird section. I am a very keen garden bird watcher. I tried to see if they do a UK version of those flash cards but I couldn’t find any. I get very jealous of the beautiful birds you have in the US. I would kill to see a hummingbird. We don’t have blue jays but we have blue tits which are tiny and can sometimes be seen on my front garden bird feeder. I only learned recently that European robins and American robins aren’t even from the same species. European robins are my favourite bird and I have quite a few that visit my garden. Robins have the same symbolism as cardinals do for you. The saying is that when a Robin appears a loved one is near. I like to think my grandparents are checking on me! Thank you for your Vlog and I look forward to your next one. 💜
Hi Kerry! Thanks for spending some time with me! I'm surprised they don't make A UK version of the cards. I would buy them just so I could enjoy the beautiful artwork 😊 That is a sweet story about your Robins and their symbolism. I'm 💯 sure your grandparents are visiting you 💕💕. Maybe someday you will have the opportunity to see a real hummingbird 😊 Oh and the Bee is really stitching up nicely, I highly recommend 😊
Amazon 😊 if you look in my description, I have an Amazon Favorites page. I try to link all my favorite mill hills there. If Amazon is out of stock, I go to 123Stitch 😊
Hi Christine, your son will do well going to Ireland by himself. Either you or your husband need to have a passport in case he has an emergency over there. I’m sure he’ll be fine but just in case.
I just love the Bird Nerd addition to your stitching and other fun doings!
Happy stitching 🧵

Lovely video. I love the variety too. It feels like a visit with a bff 💕

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video ☺️

Isn't it cute?!? Such a quick stitch!

Oh my gosh, I’m in those same pajamas right now 🤣🤣
Good ole Walmart 🤣🤣🤣
Blue Jays are in Canada as well, which is NA but not USA... 😋

Thank you for showing the bird cards up close. I'm truly a bird nerd. I love your pics of the birds you took. What kind of camera do you use?
Thank you! I used to own a whole slew of Canon cameras and lenses, then I traded them all in and currently use the Nikon Coolpix p1000. I love it 💕
@@calico_whimsy I'll have to look into that camera. There's a lot of beautiful birds where I live in northeast Indiana.
@@bella8994 It has a great zoom!!! Perfect for birds 😊
Hi Christine, your son will do well going to Ireland by himself. Either you or your husband need to have a passport in case he has an emergency over there. I’m sure he’ll be fine but just in case.
Good point...my husband has a passport 👍 Let's hope he doesn't need it ! 😊
Team Amber 😊 I used to love Johnny but now I’ve seen his other side. I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed in him 100%.
I honestly think they are both toxic people 😬
I have to watch yet, but I DM'd you on IG about a SAL🙂
Heading over there now!
