Really like this boat and how you rigged it!! Perfect Northwoods boat that can handle some bigger water. Lund Discontinued the 1675 pro guide and created the 1675 Alaskan. Same dimensions, however one level floor and no wood. As much as I like your boat, I wish they still had thr traditional, Narrower 16 footer. The 23 and older Alaskan in a 16 footer with a 50 or 60(hp max) was a nice camp style resort boat that was more affordable and didn't require such a wide trailer... and weighed less as package.. mow they have the Rebel XL tiller with the 60HP. Nice layout, sure wish it had a sprayrail.. and the thicker Aluminum the Alaskan is known for. ... it falls into a much lower price point. Question....doesn't the Jackplate void the factory warranty?
I have a question on Jackplate, I’m looking at installing in my tiller boat… I’m assuming it’s a 6”? If so in the foen position down position does the motor still tilt up without the steering hitting transom? Like for towing, I want to make sure the engine can still be tilted properly with jackplate all the way down. Thanks
Sweet boat !! I could see me in one of those 👍👍👍 I would put those plastic rubbery bolt covers on those bolts in your rod box with the beat down bracket 👍
Yeah, for sure. We're planning to build a removable custom bow deck for easy in/out. I like not having the deck when fishing with older folks and kids, but for sure want for bass and musky fishing. The 2075 Alaskan has a spacious bow deck but it's a much larger boat, so depends on what a guy is looking for.
I’m in the same boat (pun intended). My Dad is almost 80 and I have a 3 and 7 year old. I like the idea of the flat floor with plenty of freeboard. I also like everyone being in front of me instead of behind me. So I’m weighing the utility of the Alaskan and the comforts of the pro-guide.
It has a good-sized 15 Gal / 38'' long rear livewell. You can select between a manual mode, where the pump is constantly running/pumping on a self-draining overflow, or auto, which puts the pump on a 5-minute timer. Auto is great for keeping fish and bait fresh without continuous battery use.
You knocked this one out of the park very nice 👍
Love how wide it is. That’s the perfect boat.
I just dropped my 1875 off at the shop and will be doing a very similar setup! Thanks for the video!
I like this a lot. Thanks for the video
Our pleasure!
Nice boat. I have always liked that style of boat.
Same here. It's been a refreshing change from a bass boat this season. -Ryan

Good call! Thanks
Very nice we're can you buy one in Oklahoma. ???
Any quality issues, pros or cons that you’ve noticed? I’m looking at ordering the same boat but thinking about the less expensive 60 CT Merc. Thanks!
You save about 100 pounds with the 60. I have the previous 1600 version with a 60 and its pretty quick.
When bass fishing, do you miss the casting deck?

Live well/baitwell?

@@Wired2Fish Perfect “All Terrain” vessel.
THE PRICE OF NEW BOATS IS NAUSEATING. Owning even a simple boat for fishing is out of reach for way too many people.
