Harry Lee's Steam Yachts, Whitby 2016

Harry Lee's Steam Yachts at Whitby Traction Engine Rally in August 2016. This is an extreme ride, to rival any modern theme park! It's not every day you get to ride a steam powered yacht, so I had a go. With hindsight, maybe it would have been better to do that before the Fish & Chips...

Apparently the names "Columbia" and "Shamrock" reference two trans-Atlantic Yachts, which raced each other in 1899 in the 10th Americas Cup (Tea magnate Sir Thomas Lipton racing Shamrock).
