I definitely get it now, looking forward to more time on the setup. The nose on the board is perfect, I hope it stays in the rotation for a long time. I’m still getting used to the V-Lights, but so far I’m coming around to the way they feel on the pop, I like the stability they have at the flick. Stoked you checked out the video Ben, keep up the rad work you are doing!
The Dailey Push guy has some good stuff to watch on stretching. For me, I am cautious to not do too much static stretching and focus mostly on dynamic stretching. Ben Degros also has a video too about stretching.
I’m 47 and my Achilles hurt a bit too. If I don’t do my stretches and some jumping jacks I’ll feel them. If do, it’s no problem. Plus, that gets me nice a warmed up.
I have to get better about stretching, you definitely give me hope. I’m at my wits end when it comes to my Achilles. Any specific stretches you recommend?
Siiiccckkkkkk, thank you! I was just telling my wife how I couldn’t believe I hit 100 let alone 600! Stoked you liked the video, let me know if you got anything you want me to cover, I’m always looking for ideas.
The Vans Fairlane, I think they still sell them. They have the best cupsole of their line in my opinion. It’s a reissue of a shoe from the 90’s. The cupsole is soft but still supportive, that is difficult to fine in Cupsoles knowadays.
You know I haven’t skated the ventures enough to know which bushings would be best but I am sure you could use some bones bushings and that would feel good. On my Aces I ride an Ace Hard barrel and a reg top bushing. As I keep skating the trucks I’ll see how they feel and I’ll update you further. Do they feel too loose with the greens or are they just breaking?
@@100funsummers I tried the hardcore bushings they didn't fit so now using the bottom of a ace and the top of a do soh 95@ it works feels ok keep it up man I love your channel...
Dialing in trucks can be tough, I know from experience. I’m trying to keep myself sane with the ventures this time around by leaving them stock. We will see how long that lasts. Stoked you are into the channel, let me know if there is anything you want to see, I’m always looking for new ideas.
Now you know :)
I was messing around on a test board yesterday and it just made me like this setup even more.

Great, I will check out both those videos, thanks for the tip. Hopefully something will help, I’m a bit tired of pushing through the pain.

14 inches.
Just found your channel, great vid I enjoyed it, I subscribed, peace ✌️
Awesome thank you, stoked you checked it out!
kickflip and try to land in a manual to try and prevent the nose dip. IDK it's a thought.
Once I’m all healed up I’ll figure it out, but balancing it out by trying to land in a manual is a good idea.
nice video just became your 600th sub!

venture high or low ?
These are the V-Lights so they are just a tad shorter than the Highs, about 2mm shorter. Really enjoying them so far.

Indy bushings are designed to fit ventures
Oh nice, good to know. Maybe if I need to trade them out I’ll check the Indy bushings out.
