@@mariahezeako8603 Yea I was inbetween and tried both but find ISSA alot better and if you have the knowledge already then ISSA is worth it compared to ACE
I got ISSA CPT but it's not recognized here in Australia, it's extremely hard to get a job in any gyms or health clubs! If you are living in Australia rethink 😉
What do you know about the ISSA exercise science bachelors degree? There are many reviews of their certs but nothing about their degrees. My main concern is transferrability to other institutions.
You don't need a trainer certificate or a nutrition certificate, any state ask for a certificate, just the companies that you going to work ask for a certificate, but you can have your own busineess.
@@keurllenferreira3057 well try to hangout with trainers and observ how they train, and if you just starting try to charge less, because you just starting and people do not know you, maybe they will like the way you try maybe not. But I recommend you to hangout with different trainers. They will help you, ask them questions. Good luck
In terms of material, what's difference between the regular PT certification and the fast track 4 week certification ? There is around a $300 difference 🤔
The biggest difference is that they tried to take you through all the material in 4 weeks. It's definitely an intense program and I only recommended if you have all day to dedicate to studying for those four weeks. But it is a good way to get certified quickly if you do have the time.
My fitness certifcate level 2 was still using textbooks and paper. Dont get me wrong its easy and useful to use but i was hoping to use ipads or handheld devices to record and write our excercise programs. On another note what if you had a Karen for a client? did you ever had such a difficult client?
Hey man, I'm living in Brazil and I already own a nutrition degree that I completed here. I'm interested in applying for a work at a ClubMed resort and then perhaps move back to Italy where I'm originally from. Would you recommend this course for me since I'm already graduated in Nutrition? Also, do you think the good folks at ClubMed will accept and aknowledge this certification for a job in a resort? Thank you so much.
As a seasoned fitness professional of 35 years, I've grown to despise all of the fitness certs. In 93, I got ACSM, because that was the gold standard, but over the years, the name of that cert has changed 6 times, and there is no clear reason why other than money. We pay for the CEU's to keep the certification current, and then we have to pay the cert agency each 2 to 4-year period on top of the classes for the CEU's. I just had Plus One tell me that I should get ACSM's personal training cert. WTF and on top of all that, I've got my MS from Springfield College. I appreciate your enthusiasm and knowledge, but this is all a racket. I would bet people at a bar bought drinks for the powers to be of companies and told them to require their cert, and of course, there is no clear proof of studies testing fitness professional's knowledge to guarantee that any specific cert has more knowledgable people. I also sometimes wonder whether companies are advertising jobs that do not exist but require certs, to promote that cert. I did use my health and fitness knowledge to stop my mother with mild dementia from forgetting me and I'm almost finished with my graphic memoir about it.
@@DebraPerkins-gs2ns I've made some videos about it, and I put some info in my earliest videos about journaling. The personal trainer cert is just fine. Depends what you’re tryna do
issa certification ,can I find it in golds gym academy?
That's definitely a good question. I'm not exactly sure how Gold's Gym Academy works.
Is there a time limit to completing the certification?
Yes 6 months I believe
Hey! What about the pay? Did they insist you keep a credit card available?
Is ISSA recognized in the UK for most gyms like Equinox?
Yes ❤️ ❤️
Is it applicable in Philippines?
How to enrol in this certificate I want to do
Do you need proof of a high school diploma or ged to get this
never put up the cons to this certification. only put the pros
It's right for me because I get it for free using military tuition assistance
I have a college degree but nothing related to fitness or science. Should I still go for ISSA?

Would you recommend getting the textbook with ISSA or just the online book?
Get the textbooks! You will be glad you did. I went digital only and had a really tough time and ended up buying the books afterwards
Princess P Yeah, I didn’t get the textbooks but I might if I feel I am not grasping the concepts. And yes I will be taking that as well (:
Bryan Coello Yeah I actually just got the digital but that’s cool if I can get the books still
get the online book.
I have been using the digital with my iPad and Apple Pencil to do notes + my Mac to do the quiz… so far so good.
Great
You don't need a high-school degree
Is ISSA certificate Accepted in Japan?
Yes it's credited everywhere in the world man, def the best certification to get.
Is ISSA certification valid to work as PT in UK
Yes ❤❤
With the 3-1 elite trainer package ....is there any type of deadline for when you have to be done all three? Or is it 100% on your own schedule
You would have 6 months to complete CPT, and a year to complete nutritionist course and other specialization. Hope this helps
