Tigatron was a badass in this series. He was my favorite Maximal other than Dinobot. Plus the tiger is my favorite animal. Even more awesome, Tigerhawk was truly a badass.
Tigatron was awesome. As a kid he was my favourite because of his solitary and honourable nature. I love how he's basically just a reskin of Cheetor visually but they made him so unique and interesting just with the power of good writing and voice acting. That's why this show was so great.
Don't get me wrong Tigatron is awesome! but I heard he was not the original planned sixth Maximal. I read somewhere that originally the sixth one coming out of this statis pod was supposed to be Wolfang a gray timber wolf. However, being the first extra character, they decided to save time and money by doing a somewhat repaint of Cheetor. However as we can see it turned out to be a complete success!
It definitely is interesting how it all played out. I love how our creative team got a lot more clue-y in Season 2. It was definitely a budget thing that's why they ditched Wolfang. Silverbolt still rocked up as part wolf anyway but that was after the Planet Buster turned most of our scenery to desert. Save a bit of coin for the newbies and Transmetals. Still it's very cool to think if things went a little different haha.
@OrganianQ True, but Tigerhawk (who was created when the aliens merged the two of them together) WAS destroyed at the end of the series. So, essentially, YES they were killed off.

Tigatron and Airazors abduction hit hard but there was nothing more they could do with the characters, same for Scorponok and Terrorsaur, Tarantulus scheming was more interesting then Terrorsaurs given there was some mystery behind it, and Inferno was a wiser choice. They clearly had to cut costs so four voice actors went.
i really really like this one for some reason :D... ya know what u should do once ur finished with all these appreciations is you should make a huge montage of all the best action scenes and put some awesome music in there. kinda like a super insane trailer, i bet u could do an awesome job. and i cant wait for megatron, i hope its awesome, i know it will be :D
I literally never noticed he was taller than Optimus and rhinox until the master piece figures came out. That last scene confirmed it. I've watched this series so many times I thought him and cheetor were the same size lol

I never realized how involved he was in a lot of the happenings of S1 and 2. He always seemed so rare appearances in memory.

For some time it was between Tigatron & Dinobot. But Tigatron matches my personality so well that I ultimately had to give him the edge.
