The only way this video (or really, this reviewer's videos in general) could be better is if they are subtitled. He always gives thorough demos that are properly recorded on EVERY piece of gear he reviews. I wish I could know what he's saying, as I'm sure I'd learn a lot.
I love Katsunori's demos. They are FAR better than the mostly crap ones other people post on TH-cam (which are often badly recorded audio from speakers and/or focus too much on just a few sounds).
i want to produce rock musics, is it possible with Kronos? is there any more sounds (guitar sounds).. and i heard we can add any sounds to it? how is possible? is it right?
I'm just glad it's in Japanese as a Japanese learner. Also, the channel name has a "jp" at the end, implying a Japanese-made youtube channel. There's plenty of English Korg demos.
Lacking is multisamples for the guitars. You need slides up and down, feet noise, scrapes etc that can be dynamically switched in during play like Yamaha Montage..
I have the M3 and I bought the Firewire card option. I used many times it but honestly I don´t find it very useful as there are other options like the digital audio S/P DIF or connecting to an audio interface. But there are many ways to do things, and you may still prefer Firewire, fortunatelly there are plenty of options for every one :D Regards!

at this caliber of instrument they should offer 16-channel FireWire audio like Motif XF does. USB is a cheappo option for a $3K+ instrument, in my opinion.
@alphasxsignal i dont know which one is better actually but i think in whole Korg models Kronos is the best. i also compare it with their old OASYS and lots of spec. is added to Kronos too which in Oasys.. Looks like excellent to get one KRONOS but in Turkey (in my country) there is not Oasys and Kronos :S so i just try to understand from the videos its specifications
I possesed a Kronos for a year but the 73 keybed was no good regarding playing piano. Also the OS is a parameter grave mess. It nas a UI structure from aound 1995 and can not be integrated into DAWs. It's still a very good synth with a useless sequencer.
I'm glad you like your Yamaha, but... no. If you just want ROM samples, Yamahas are fantastic, but Kronos is still the best total instrument on the planet. And I say that as a guy who loves almost every synthesizer ever made. By the way, the Motifs and Montage are a lot better than the MMs. But Kronos is still a better instrument.

Excellent. If people didn't know if was coming from a Kronos they would know but knowing causes them to be bias.

that first polysix sounds at 1:20 is freaking sick!!!!... super crazy and thick.
A Synth Based on MOD-7 engine and with knobs, would be a dream come true. Hope Ujiie can give Korg a call :)

I own the M3 too , it has a V8 and 420 horsepower, BMW.
Can the STR-1 do a plucking and bending sound on string.

Fro some reason the FM synth engine sounds kind of, shall I say... "plasticky"? compared to the Yamaha FM implementation of the day (DX7, SY77, etc.)
