I quit my my job as an RN last two years ago after almost 16 years in the field. It was not an easy decision, but life is too short to dread going to work everyday. No amount of money can buy real happiness, but friends I'm not asking you to resign from your job or abandon your business but be wise!

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 7 months ago about self development. Now I have 696 subs and > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
Congratulations to you Alisha!!!!! I took the leap in September of 2020 and left my corporate job (compliance analyst) of 30 years after stress and burnout. It was very scary but I am amazed this year will be 3 years and question why I waited for so long. I was very concerned about the insurance piece as well but decided to keep the insurance plan I had with the company, even though it is more out of pocket now that I am no longer an employee but I am managing it by the grace of God. When we let go and let God, he truly shows out.
I made the same leap in December 2011. Having significant savings was essential since I was teaching myself a new skill set. I eventually closed my business in the summer of 2022 after fighting off pandemic scammers and thieves for 2+ years, but I didn't need it. They may have stolen and resold a few of my courses, but they cannot steal my skill set. Congratulations, I know you'll do great!
God makes no mistakes!! I just did the same thing! Quit my job which I liked but the passion & fuel is no longer there. I’m emotional, it’s scary, idk what’s next but I’m still optimistic & hopeful for the greatness to come. I’m finally stepping into being an entreprenuer and doing what’s best for me. God has been pushing it in & from me as well. It’s new but it feels good at the same time. I wish you the best in your journey. I have been wanting to quit for years but I need my health insurance and steady cash right now. I will say that so many TH-camrs do it for freedom. It's become commonplace. It's gonna be tough for those who never worked in the workforce to know how to function at a job. You are smart and yes you can always start working again in the job market if needed. Keep walking by faith. Sales is a burnout high stress job so congrats for dropping the weight of it.

I’m happy for you Alisha. You said so many things that resonated with me. I’ve been wanting to quit my job for a long time and do my own thing. I’ve checked out long ago and before I started working from home but working from home has kept me hanging in this job. I stated working from home king before the pandemic. My job pays well but I do feel like the comfort of working from home and good pay has kept me tied to this job. I’m happy for you stepping out there. I’m gonna focus on doubling my income this year and see what that will do as far as taking that leap.

Day 20 is titled Go. Set. Ready. And it speaks about that if we(I) take the first step God will give us the next and faith is not faith if we(I) don’t act. Although I don’t know my purpose or what I’m supposed to do(I’m 44 and I beat myself up about it)I know God is still in the blessing business. As a LATE millennial I felt this on so many levels. We have been lied to! I've been feeling like leaving my job in healthcare for the last two years because I want to explore my real passion which is working with computers and technologies. I have my date which is in a few weeks I'm leaving from my company and that line of work altogether.

Day 20 is titled Go. Set. Ready. And it speaks about that if we(I) take the first step God will give us the next and faith is not faith if we(I) don’t act. Although I don’t know my purpose or what I’m supposed to do(I’m 44 and I beat myself up about it)I know God is still in the blessing business. As a LATE millennial I felt this on so many levels. We have been lied to! I've been feeling like leaving my job in healthcare for the last two years because I want to explore my real passion which is working with computers and technologies. Congratulations just be consistent Like he was on your job working for somebody else now put that effort in your own Business have a schedule Write your vision make it playing on your own schedule stick to it Starting with the time you get up And the time you wanna get off Of your job working for yourself For example After you take baby girl to school I'm gonna work 10 AM to 1 PM I want to be off Work Tuesday through Thursday Set the days you wanna do phone calls only and so on Proud of you I've seen your growth for the last 4 years you can do this with God in the middle of everything you do Keep up the good work Also do a video on how you Came across find me your insurance for self employment
