I need a mechanism where a weight descends on the right side of a wheel, but it rotates on the opposite side, counterclockwise. Detail, I only have a central axis that rotates all the time. Can anyone help?
One thing to see a mechanism and understand how it works, but how people invent such things in a first place? Are there some guiding principlesbeihind the design of the kindematic mechanisms?

Because there is no relative motion between piston and piston rod. Infact piston rod is the rigid memeber of poston wich is rigidly connected. Hence piston and poston rod is counted as a single link.
