    uhm ye subdivision modifier surely makes the process easier but increases the poly count to a stupidly large number when the same result can be achieved by bevel tool which really helps if you're trying to keep it more low poly.

    • @KeelanJon
      @KeelanJon  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, I wouldn't say this is a stupidly large number of polygons. A basic low poly shape subdivided 3 times is pretty normal and works very well for this style. If you're doing low poly work, then obviously you wouldnt use the subdivision method, but the bevel tool is great too 😁

  • @schopenhauer2292

    Can you please tell me how to increase and decrease the cut lines by scaling (S)? For me, this just scales the selected area of the model, not the lines.

    • @JSAbbott
      @JSAbbott 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can increase or decrease the loop cuts using the middle mouse button (scrolling up/down). Once you have already clicked to set the loop cuts you can either use CTRL + R to add additional ones or use the loop cut tool in the toolbar.

    Also, is there a way to batch apply the material in Blender?

    • @JSAbbott
      @JSAbbott 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you join all of the objects together that will use one material you can apply the material to all of the objects at once.

    Btw I have a question, what is the difference between Join and Parent

    • @JSAbbott
      @JSAbbott 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joining means that the objects become on object/mesh. Parenting means that the meshes stay separate but the parent controls the child.
