- This KMG (Kroon Machinebouw Groep) Freak Out swinging pendulum ride opened at the park in 2005 and is similar to the company's Afterburner attraction. In addition to having a slightly smaller footprint and capacity, only 16 riders instead of 24, a Freak Out swings front to back instead of left to right.
Trimper's Rides is located in Ocean City, Maryland.

Trust me I've been on one like that except this one is turned inside, the one I've been is turned outside and even bigger.... I usually go on all roller coasters but I almost passed out on it. It actually looped when it got on top, you could feel G forces on your body

It starts spinning, but when it starts to swing it only spins for a short time at the end. If one waited 30 mins for this it's fair to be disappointed. Long build ups are a waste of time.

I know! Poor Jack Amusements comes to my county fair every year, and their version of the Freak Out is there as well. The ride only lasts 30 seconds! I swear!
I've been on this and for anyone who hates the stomach drop feeling, I don't recommend it to them. Overall it's a very good ride, frightening but fun.

Sounds cool. The one at my local fair hangs out over the the river. And i can't swim. I'm not scared of the ride or fair rides in general. I'm just scared of something bad happening.
That ride comes to my city every year in June. Never had the guts to go on this. It looks fun but I know I'd be terrified on the ride.

i went on 1 i didn't relly scream much
i been on this ride different venue last year with my sis and our friends we all had fun we didn't really scream but it was still fun and it lasted lot longer than this one we were in air at least 2 full mins before slow down only issue was getting off ride we banged our heads a bit on restraints had to like use hands to lift body enough to jump down im so short really could have used a step stool to get on the ride too lol but ride itself was lot of fun

This ride is sooo amazing and so fun. You lift up in your seat only a little tho and you can see the whole world sideways it’s sooo great. Was very scared at first but as the ride continued it was really fun

I'm 11, and I rid this, honestly one of the most intense things EVER. Like, you can't even feel anything, its crazy!
i had too wait in line for 2 hrs because the guy before us got sick on it . but other than that , passed out a few times but this ride is awesome .
I had an anxiety attack on one of those because I am absolutely TERRIFIED of heights and I was forced on. I was shaking, I had tears in my eyes, my heart was racing, I couldn't breathe, and I had this weird feeling on my skin as if I were being shocked. One of the worst experiences of my life.

This is always at my local fair and it’s one of the most fun rides there I’m 13, and I can say that it doesn’t have too much adrenaline, but it’s a bit frightening. If u want to feel less adrenaline sit on the inside. But it’s really fun
I rode this at a carnival at 12 years old and I cried after it. During it, I almost pissed my pants, I thought I was gonna fall off it.
This is a pretty cool ride. I rode this like 7x in a row.

personally, I love this ride and I always ride it at my towns fall festival but I don't think I'll ride it this year because its sister ride, fire ball broke at the ohio state fair and killed someone. Just a warning if anyone is planning on riding it to be safe and consider if it's worth it or not.
I know it's to late to say anything but the freak out was one of the rides allowed to still operate meaning the issue on fireball was not a problem on the freak out model.
