Well damn...that explains a lot. I can get hotties, but I always have problems retaining them...and I'm getting why. I put them on pedestals. I thought it was me "being nice and compassionate to my partner... building them up because she's beautiful and great and a goddess" etc etc... but subconsciously they were losing respect for me...and we'd almost always slowly tip toe into the position where I'm doing everything for them, they're never really happy and blaming me for why they aren't, and then I get pissed because I'm not a tool. And I get it now - they got me to be a tool because I placed too much value on them versus myself, and then neither one of us was ever happy with that setup. And it's interesting because I don't trip out about "OMG she's soooo beautiful" because I don't care that much about looks....but the "i will *treat her* like she's the most beautiful" would ALWAYS happen with me.... Never again. Maintaining frame from now on and we'll see how it goes.
