There is a pool with frigid cold water, next to the big rock. We used to go to camp at Ras al ma close to Azrou every summer. You made that hike look easy!

It's up in the mountain of Tazekka, and that, there is "Friouato Cave" which is the deepest cave in African Continent. If you go to Emouzzar let me know, I have a friend there. I was hoping you post more of the details of the following days of eid in the house! But anyway I enjoyed watching you experience eid with family especially in Meknes (my city where I grew up). I also hope you go see Dar Lkbira in Meknes it is one of the oldest neighborhoods and has lot of monuments and special thick walls all around the city.
I really contemplated that but given the other things I had to do and other things, it just wasn't going to work out. But I was right there with you on this idea! I'll check out Dar Lkbira next time I'm in Meknes!

There u can find the bery big abandoned hospital bensamim A gigantic hospital that covers over 40 acres. The French constructed this enormous building in 1948. By virtue of its sophisticated medical equipment, the hospital received people from Morocco and foreign countries who suffered from tuberculosis. It had 400 beds, theater halls in the basement, and a gymnasium. ..... A beautiful building in the middle of the forest.
