Oh wow I wanna see him even in just for a practice performance! I prefer his FS here maybe because of his simple black practice outfit, and he doesn't feel much pressure here unlike in the actual.
I get the same feeling, I feel so conflicted with myself when I watch this performance I kept thinking 'please change your clothes' lol Now I'm more used to it, but I still prefer his older outfits, I love the Etude one for example. I don't want to criticize too much because well, he probably loves it, let him wear what he wants. But at times like this, watching his practice, that I fell how much of impact an outfit has, and really, the outfit should complement the performance, not distract ... Imagine this performance with the 2012 Romeo outfit, much better. Well, don't matter what, I'll keep loving him because he's extremely talented, At least this one is better than the Notre Dame one, this one ............ jesus
red clouds yeah same here! hmmm I have yet to see the other outfits you mentioned, since I'm just a new fan. But yeah you have a point, he probably likes the outfit he's wearing, of course he has to have a say when an outfit is chosen (I really hope so). Besides, whatever that outfit is, he still carries it beautifully! But of course my fave is his Parisienne Walkways top. Simple but manly! And yeah, whatever he wears, it's his talent that's most important.
razilia1516 The Etude is the blue one (I think this outfit is perfect for Yuzuru) Notre Dame the pink one with a cross. And I heard that even though Johnny Weir designed it, Yuzuru was really specific about how he wanted the outfit for this performance ......... so yeah, he feels fabulous in this lol I personally would want Yuzuru to capture some of the good sides of Weir's artistry since he likes him so much, but not his outfits ..... His taste is interesting lol But let him be .. I think that Parisian Walkways was at the beginning kind of an experiment, because Yuzuru was used to skate to classical music but at the end he really grew with the program and could 'sell it', I hope that, fingers crossed, next season his short program will be as good as Parisian Walkways, and his outfit too :)

Yeah fingers crossed he'll have a better outfit in the coming seasons and of course for his performance too! He really looks a natural in Parisian than in the classicals, in my opinion. It's as if he's so at home with it, no wonder he keeps breaking world records with it! So meaning, the experiment was a success, right? Yuzuru fighting!
