Or you can have multiple stands set up for different winds .. if wind is bad they'll still smell you were there and be on alert or leave. Us poor hunters can't afford 2 or 6 $5000 blinds to sit in cuz its cold or the wind is wrong but i do have multiple stands set up on my 700 acres and they work just fine.

We'd take being poor and having 700 acres.

Remember when men knew how to hunt and just played the wind? Now days everyone needs gizmos and gadgets, cell cameras, box blinds, crossbows… same type of dudes who will tell you their pronouns.

Playing the wind is still a key strategy for many treestands. Blinds, on the other hand, are an effective tool and great for involving the entire family in the outdoors. Whether you're in a blind or a treestand, enjoying God's creation is what truly matters. Belittling other hunters for the sake of machoism isn't very cool.

@@TeamRadical some things deserve to be shamed. Our country wouldn’t be in the place it is today if more people were willing to implement shame to correct bad behaviors, especially when it’s the only tool available. Everyone is afraid to hurt someone’s feelings or offend someone. Am I belittling people who use box blinds? Maybe, maybe not. But I certainly am not afraid to offend them when it comes to something I feel is bad for the hunting industry as a whole. It’s crap like box blinds that have made society soft. Always making it easier.

@@TeamRadical by the way, you also know box blinds make it too easy and are bad for the hunting community. It just happens to be good for your business. You’re placing the value of money over truth. That doesn’t seem congruent with your reference to the almighty creator.

@Jimbojohnj totally respect your opinion and nothing wrong with airing it out. Can assure you we're not offended. With that said, we've hunted about every way possible across many landscapes nation and internationally wide. From public grounds to private. From flat lands to mountains. Completely agree in many aspects making life easier makes softer ppl. But we'd all be lying of we said we didn't enjoy some of the technological improvements in today's society. When it comes to hunting blinds they are great for taking children, older grandpa's, winds that aren't ideal for sitting from a stand, when the weather is too severe for a stand hunt etc. We evolve over time. We have air conditioned/heated homes now, we no longer have to live in tents. I hope you see the point here. And lastly, this certainly can make softer people but it's certainly not a one size fits all. I can assure you that everyone on TEAM RADICAL work tirelessly year in year out not just for better hunting odds, but for the good of the land/critters. Can't always judge a book by its cover. Cheers

Tell me how you only shot stick bows and passed every deer that wasn't minimum 12 point and beat your kids while drinking away your feelings. What a clown. If it gets people hunting while hunting is on the decline, it's good. Do you think crocket, Boone or any native wouldn't have used any advantage we concocted in modernity? Of course not. If they could've just hit a grocery store, they would because they probably didn't even enjoy it. It was just their job. Hunting ISN'T the same as back in the day because it isn't necessary. Now it's about meditation, mastery over the body and being a part of the natural order. And if you can make it easier for your kids to get involved, it's worth it.
Keep the archaic bullshit. I'll embrace the modern age while the old-timers die off with their outdated biases.
