This was a really well produced video till the end, I am actually shocked you have so little views. But reguardless good work man, glad someone finally covered these boyz.

This was probably the best informed video on not only the teriyaki boyz, but bape nigo and the future if him. This alone makes me surprised you only have under 200 subs. Keep it up!

If Teriyaki Boyz do a full comeback now considering Nigo dropped a new record, it'd be such a throwback. These guys are the pinnacle of the 2000s era of hip-hop.

Massive Teriyaki Boyz fan and found this documentary by accident. Incredibly well made and put together. Couldn't stop watching.
Thanks for all the hard work. And I hope the NEW Teriyaki Boyz song sends some more viewers your way! 🔥

For me it was the music videos, I was in high school and was heavily into streetwear. Their music videos were always decked out in Bape and always had crazy art pieces, it was just some next level stuff.

Also wanna mention, everyone youre mentioning in the beginning is so well researched - love that youre giving all the background info - not many people know about stuff like Goodenough, Recon or nowhere. Really well done!!

i cant believe how thorough and extensive your research is. i've been looking for in depth background on the teriyaki boyz for months now and im glad you've made a super detailed video on it. my only complaint is that you said tokyo drift is "not a good film" which is flat out wrong and unforgivable but apart from that, keep up the good work!

Also amazed on the level of research you did for this. You deserve more views

Very good and very informative. When I asked myself what happened to the Teriyaki Boyz your video was the first one to show up. When I saw the time I thought "oh man this is long" but once I started watching it I couldn't stop. I was into the Teriyaki Boyz back then (live in the USA) so some of this information I didnt know about. I always wondered how BAPE made its way around the world. Again good stuff!!

Thank you for this video. I finally got to see a deep history into the Teriyaki Boyz and where they have all got to now. I even learnt stuff in this video about fashion I didn't even know, like the whole bape brand. We need more videos like this for the hip hop culture and promoting these long lost older artists so that future generations can use this for sampling and inspiration. Although I do have one critique of this video, how dare you shame Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift. Yes it may be from 2006, a time where movies weren't exactly great, yes the soundtrack may not be all memorable. But out of all the Fast and Furious movies released, Tokyo Drift is the most rated one by the car community, because that movie beautifully represents car culture how it should be. Otherwise apart from that, this was an amazing video and thanks for putting in the time and research :)

I worked at Razer for 10 years and the Bape collab was one of the most fun product launches I've worked on in my career. I loved the whole video but when 1:21:11 came around it literally broke my heart. I respect your opinion and thank you for this entire historical journey, I was just listening to "I Still Love H.E.R." and stumbled upon this masterful piece.

    Really good video! 👏
40:34 I like that you said "first spin-off film".
That’s what Tokyo Drift basically was!
The only reason why Tokyo Drift is even part of the Fast And Furious main timeline, is because of the character "Han".
A lot of people liked that character back when the movie came out, so the UNIVERSAL producers decided to somehow bring the actor back for the fourth movie.
That’s what completely messed up the storyline / timeline of the franchise…
I enjoy the movie Tokyo Drift and really like Japan and its car culture
but see it more as a standalone movie.
My favorite movie is the first - original one!
    Different vibe and lifetime…
    40:49
The original movie soundtrack was indeed mostly Hip Hop/Rap and Rock/Metal and also some Electronic music like House and mainly Trance.
    A little bit of everything!
That’s why the original soundtrack is so good!
The list you showed at 40:54 belongs to the second movie 2 Fast 2 Furious soundtrack.
What’s so *outdated and laughable* though?
"Pick Up The Phone" isn’t that bad of a song.
41:00 Yeah, I wonder why the producers decided to include spanish language songs by Don Omar in the movie soundtrack…

To be a total goober, the first mega hit the Neptunes had was actually Wreckx-n-Effect’s “Rump Shaker.”
Also, Clipse’s “Mr Me Too” was a shot a Lil Wayne for wearing BAPE and copying Clipse/Pharrell’s look.
I used to be friendly with Pharrell from basically the first NERD album to the second one. It was a wild time!
