- The Cybercrime reporting portal is an initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under National Mission for the safety of women to facilitate victims/complainants to report cybercrime complaints online.
This portal is an initiative of Government of India to facilitate victims/complainants to report cyber crime complaints online. This portal caters to complaints pertaining to cyber crimes only with special focus on cyber crimes against women and children. Complaints reported on this portal are dealt by law enforcement agencies/ police based on the information available in the complaints. It is imperative to provide correct and accurate details while filing complaint for prompt action.
Please contact local police in case of an emergency or for reporting crimes other than cyber crimes. National police helpline number is 100. National women helpline number is 181.

If someone disturb anyone randomly by giving missed call or after receiving call he remains silent frequently ,which IPC can be used against for this type of wrong deeds.
The Cyber crime branch should also include one portal where we can report spam call numbers with recording. So that they can take action on that nimber.

And told me to pay 5000 rupees through online for purchasing a car at cheap price ,
I was searching second hand car,
And there i found this man selling a car at very cheap price,
And demanding pay money online,
And later he will delivering the car,
So how to file case of such incidence, means how catch them for not doing such scam further with anyone

No use of this Cyber crime reporting portal, I filed a complaint in 28th dec 2023, and it still shows under processing banks do not help, our authorities do not help.
This is all on the paper. Practically Zero. I lodged a complaint on Cyber Portal and received complaint number and from then three months passed, nothing happened. Just propaganda.

I lost 1 lakh last month to a fraud who made me to believe it as a work from home job.There is nothing we can do after loosing the money, Cybercrime can only help us only if it is within a day but there is a police officer who said it is not possible to recover even I explained my situation on the same day.I am unable to get my money back🥺,we need to be careful with fraudsters.I don't want other people to face the same situation like me.
I lost Rs.30000/- on 30.07.2022.But I have reported this to my banker SBI within two hours and reported to NCERT within 5 hours.SBI has blocked Rs 22500/- and the said money will come back to me.

A financial cyber crime occurred 10 days back and the same was reported on National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal
NO RESPONSE from MOHA and even an inquiry call or Mail.
The same has also been reported to UP KANPUR cyber crime police and No action/response/ Help is provided.
Nothing happens after reporting on this portal...your complaint will automatically disappear after some days..

We can report online.. But there is no action on that.. Even if you meet the realted officer, no action.. They close the complaint without completing the same and they do not provide the report..

We faced credit card online fraud raised a complaint to cyber crime department and police ignore to file FIR said that your money is 1lakh below we cant file FIR, cyber department declared its our fault... We only should pay all the fraudulent amount to bank... What can we do in this case... Who will help to recover our fraudulent amount
I have reported my issue , it keep getting transferred and finally provided one number...I have tried calling atleast 1000 times that number almost covering full 24hrs of day but nobody picked up and unfortunately after couple of days case auto closed. There is no way to follow up as well. Then what is the benefits of providing portal to report complain when basically no one tried to resolve it.

The site is very slow and does not look professional. What is the use of reporting online if they say that after complaining online you have to go to nearest police station and file an FIR. Officers at police station are not well versed with cyber crime and you have to explain everything to them.
Cyber crime portal is just like a forwarding agency which forwards the complaints to nearest police station and nothing else
